I'll be headed to BitSummit in Kyoto in a little over a week! I'm super stoked!

https://bitsummit.org/en/

I've always heard that BitSummit is the most fun game industry event in Japan, and Kyoto is one of my favorite places on earth (I love Buddhist art so much). I was wondering if any of you fine folk from the Cafe are also going? If so, let's hang out!

I heard the thing to do is every night after the event, everyone gathers at the riverside to hang out and drink. I'll bring some bottles of Thai rum with me to share. But whether you're a drinker or not, it'll just be nice to shoot the breeze!

Also, if you have any suggestions on Developers or Games to watch out for, let me know!

Any tips for Kyoto are much appreciated too! I heard it's gonna be insanely crowded and insanely hot and hummid cos of the time of year. So I'll dress accordingly!

BTW I'll be at Bit Summit to promote my studio's upcoming game, Lost and Found Co! This is what I've been up to these last few years :D

If you'd like to check it out, we have a demo up on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2101390/Lost_and_Found_Co/

It's actually currently the most wishlisted upcoming game from Thailand, something we're super duper stoked about!

It's also already an award winning game!

And don't just take my word for it, the press around it has been really positive!

If you have some time to spare, please try it out and lemme know whatcha think!

My direct contribution to the game has been helping to set the overall animation style. Make sure it's punchy and satisfying to poke everything. Other than that, I've been pretty hands off, my main priority is to keep the lights on at the studio (we do a lot of outsourcing work too) and make sure the game actually ships this year!

The team behind the game is really young. For the vast majority of them, this will be the first game they ever ship. It's been a grueling process, but they've done such an amazing job. They really put their souls into it. It's a game that really reflects who they are--who WE are as a game studio! I'm so proud of em!

I really can't wait to try Lost and found Co! Hope the trip is successful. And also, if you see any interesting-looking game at Bit Summit, don't hesitate to report! My wishlist is only 500 games long, I'm sure it can get longer.
