Happy holidays and new year to all!
Speaking of christmas, it seems someone had a quality present this year:
4 Gamer's year round up with 151 game creators
quote:
Q3: List an individual that caught your attention in 2013.

Answer from Kamitani: Alex Ahad(アレックス・アハド).
I had seen his art on DeviantArt in the past and I was amazed by his his originality and unique feel, but when I saw Skullgirls, a game that feels like it shares the soul of the old Capcom, I had no other word than "fantastic". He's a herald for 2D games I'd like to keep on supporting.

If someone has an account on the Skullgirls forum (or any place where he might read it really), I'm sure he'd be happy to hear that if he hasn't already!

And another thing to look forward in 2014: Takumi Shû is currently overworked and depressed about his current project, and he should be able to announce and release it next year. That's the best Takushû possible (if it's not on mobile... but his game of the year is W101, so hopefully it is not).
SquareSoft/Gungho's Tanaka Hiromichi loved Cookie Clicker. All is right with this world.
And Kawazu's answer to the individual of 2013 is Nintendo's Yamauchi... I just love this guy. And Harada is insane.

That's awesome! I'll need to hit him about that one for sure

I wonder what Takushu is up to?
