"Holy crap - it's Persona 3" , posted Fri 10 Mar 09:44: The Magic Box states that Atlus has just announced Persona 3 for the PS2. Screen shots are interesting but I really don't care for the character icons on the right side of the screen. Still, if this is half as good as the other Persona games I'm in freakin' heaven.

This game looks pretty slick. It's always up in the air if Atlus is going to localize something, but they took the chance with Magna Carta so I would hope this is brought over.

In my opinion this game has both good and bad points on its premises.
I hope the story and the characters development keep up with the expectations!

I've just watched the P3 movie and I'm impressed... I couldn't help but notice the character designer has changed. Risky move when the series is so associated with the art style. Good thing the new guy is the Stella Deus artist ! His designs, as seen on the official site, are not as strange as his predecessor's, but they're quite original. I can't wait to see more monsters !
I like the idea of the 'suicide' that allows the persona to appear. I just hope it won't prevent any localization.
