Okay, I've stumbled upon something very interesting. A Japanese blog site, that SEEMINGLY has Amano taking fans' requests to draw random Anime and Game characters. I honestly can't tell if this is really Amano or an impersonator (Amano's style is so unique, I'd think it would be incredibly hard to imitate, and this looks as legit as could be), but the artwork is SO DAMN COOL, even if it was an impersonator it's still quite impressive.

For those who don't want to wade through all 14 pages, here are some notable entries

Sorry, it says at the very top that it's just a thread for drawing pictures in Amano's style (the blog collects threads the author found entertaining at 2ch). Some aren't bad, though. It's not someone impersonating Amano or anything, just a 2ch thread of people tossing out different characters to be attempted.

At first, I was just laughing at the novelty, but some of those are actually really cool illustrations! I like the Kamen Rider and DMC ones best.

Ah okay thanks, the mystery was driving me nuts. Like I said though, even if it was a fan work, it's still pretty impressive.
