So, I was going to comment that little thing about FFXIII going on XBox360, and I thought I'd better not narrow the thread just to that. What do you think about it? I personally still don't give a damn about it, since, with Sakaguchi and Matsuno out of squeenix, I really don't like anyone there, and I dislike Nomura specially, but from a industry perspective, this is a big hit to Sony.

That new wiimote extension, which allegedly makes it able to reproduce the wiimote motion 1:1 in the game is also pretty surprising. It's basically Nintendo admitting "okay, so the wiimote wasn't really that good to begin with". And still, if it is TRULY a 1:1 detection, it can lead to some great ideas.

Unless Sony has some big stuff lined up, yeah, they just got buttfucked. What makes me the most curious about the FF13 announcement is the mention that 360 development hasn't begun yet... and will begin when localization for the PS3 version does? That can't be right. Here's hoping that this doesn't lead to delays on the English version. Especially after the PS3 version of the Last Remnant was already delayed.

Strangely enough, the announcement of Netflix instant playing coming to 360 makes me want one more than most of the games that came out in the last year. That and Viva Pinata 2 on the horizon.

FF13 doesn't save the 360 in Japan, but it probably dooms the Ps3 to be in third place in the USA and makes the fight between Microsoft and Sony more interesting in Europe.

But this isn't too shocking, really. Big budget third party titles just can't survive on one system right now with neither the 360 or the PS3 having the kind of base the PS2 had. If you want to make money you have to be on all 2 systems.

Nope the infos was debunked... It's just that the teams works on booth games, with a priority for FF13.
Curious to see how the japanese fans will take the "backstab" of squenix... will they do a riot again like in the old time were FF10 was rumored multiport ofr a moments??

Well, MH on Wii is a different situation.It's just annoying because we're gonna get the same damned renders again along with undoubtedly crappy online play.

I was expecting a MH for Wii, thinking "there's no way they'll pass up an opportunity to recycle crap, add lame wiimote support and make millions". That would have been fine, but not as a replacement for something that may have been greater.

So yeah, I'm never buying another Capcom game, I'm gonna call them "Crapcom" from now on, I'm gonna make fart noises every time anyone mentions them and I'm getting "Capcom sucks donkey balls" tattooed on my ass.

Square likes money, and realizes that while a 360 version is good business in the US/EU it's probably not going to do much in Japan. They'll probably release something a year after release with little effort, but right now it just isn't worth the funds to make the game in Japanese on a 360.

Of course one thing this announcement does seem to point to is that the Japanese marketplace really seems to be becoming a second thought in this current console generation. Even in the PS2 years I couldn't see Square making a deal to go on the Xbox for extra NA money. Now it's a pretty different story.

And for the million dollar question, when does MGS4 come to the 360 :) :) :) :)

Nintendo's conference in a nutshell

I was sooo looking forward to Wii Music, but it's awfully awful. If a profesional drummer can't even make it sound right... And you need a Wii balance board for the drum kick pedal!

Fat Princess is a PlayStation Network game, it was shown with other PSN games on Sony's conference. I think it's developed by Pixel Junk but I couldn't find pictures or anything. Maybe you can find the PSN part of the conference somewhere.

Of course I'm also happy about Rhythm Heaven! Haven't seen how the japanese version is, is it mostly black & white stuff? What I've seen looks like it's unfinished or something.

Flipping through channels and stumbling on g4's E3 week, I think probably the only news that still has me hopeful is Ryu ga gotoku 2 for ps2.

Other than that hm, I'm not sure what else there is interesting. To be honest with you it feels a bit boring at E3.
