Hey, wasn't Red Falcon saying there were some groups that held semi-regular fighting game tourneys in Washington, DC? C3 or something, maybe? If I could get in some Zero 3 or Soul Calibur 2 against some good opponents while I'm here, that'd be amazing...

Seconded. I lament having lived here for a year and not having any arcades around. If there are groups around here, I would be interested in knowing.
