...well, not really, but I like to pretend I am. It gives me something to complain about.
If Squeenix wants me to fund their next gen projects, they'll release FF4-6 with sprites like the nice ones in the PSP FF1 and FF2. The DS 3D remake of FF4 is a nice idea and all, but I'd much rather the high-resolution sprites than playing the 16 bit FFs with Starfox graphics.

sometimes I wonder if they're not just making these for people like me - I never played square or enix games when they were first out, so for me, I'm buying them for the first time. Could be!

I think there are a lot of people who haven't played the DQ series in the US, so it's a good for those people, right?
I don't know if I'll ever really enjoy the DQ series, it just doesn't grab me (my experience was tainted by DQ7).
I really need to play the Mother series first.

Nice. DQ4 was pretty good from what I remembered... except I actually liked DQ3 the most out of all of the Dragon Quest games.
