I just wanted to ask if all games on the PSP were region free. My brother got a PSP in Japan because his gym mate was in this boxing game and I was thinking of picking up some games here for when he gets home. From what I read it appears that games are region free, but UMD movies are not(but I don't give a damn about that). Are there any games that have region blocking coded in or not?

It's region free. I bought Sengoku Cannon for the PSP (however I DO NOT own a PSP) and I play it on my friend's PSP without a problem.

Nope, you heard right. All games are region free, movies are not.

for some reason I have korean, japanese, and chinese PSP games, and they all play just fine on my american PSP.
Or they did for the five minutes I played each, anyway.
Japanese porn UMDs work too.
But they are also awful and pointless.

That's good to know. I was told that once but I wasn't sure. That opens up a whole new corridor of... well... doors. XD Now... all I have to do is buy a PSP. XD
