-Having never played Earthbound I'm curious, exactly how powerful is Ness? I heard someone once say he has a pocket universe in his head but it wasn't a trustworthy source.
-Anyone have an any (current) pictures of Samus Aran with her helmet off?
-Samus's gun arm: fits over her hand or morphs to hand shape?

Earthbound is one of my favorite games, but I don't remember anything about a pocket universe in Ness' head. I could be wrong though. There is probably information on some Earthbound fansite on the internet.
I have no Samus pictures for you, or information about her gun arm. I think it probably just fits over her hand though.

This wikipedia article claims her gun is built into the suit, and also has some current artwork of Samus without the armor.

There was a side level in Earthbound called Magicant that took place inside Ness's head. Really crazy (Flying Men!).
Spoiler (Highlight to view) - It was right after your Eighth and final Sanctuary. So the power from the sanctuaries overwhelmed him and he has to fight an evil version of himself in his own head. After this he awakens his power (from his mind and the Earth) in Saturn Valley. After you beat Giygas Ness has to be the most powerful being in the universe.
End of Spoiler PSI-ROCKIN!!!!!Awesome game. I hope Mother 3 makes it outside of Japan.

I can recall many pictures of Samus without her helmet, even without her armor (most were fanart, though). 4chan is full of them.

In Metroid Prime you can also see the bones of her hand in the gun arm via the x-ray visor.

Eh? 64, like 64-bits. Saturn and PS were 32, SFC and Megadrive 16, like that. Easy to forget I guess since the whole bit thing isn't talked about on consoles anymore...

Haven't the Koopa kids been MIA since Mario World? Maybe they really did die when you pushed them into the lava or made them collapse into a singularity (Morton, Roy, Ludwig)....not that lava ever stopped Koopa from coming back, but still.

and later they were replaced by Bowser Jr...ugh. whatever happened to the yellow and blue koopa troopas from SMW? were they ever featured in another game, because all i see now are the red and green varieties

Koopa kids reappear in Mario & Luigi, albeit only in brief non-speaking boss battle roles. At least you actually fight them as opposed to a cameo, though.
Samus "naked" is just her outline. I don't think it was intended to be thought of as naked yet some people keep on spouting that that's what it is, despite how that's basically akin to claiming that you can see Chun-Li naked whenever she gets hit by an electric or a fire attack.

Yes... it was the outline... but fifth graders didn't have access to porn back then, so they relied on Samus Aran's pixelated outline...!
