I've never played the game, but always kinda meant to, and I do like Sakuraba's music, but at any rate, I was over by RPGFan and they mentioned that Valkyrie Profile's soundtrack is being re-released and evidently improved. Since hunting down old RPG soundtracks is a bit of a pain (still hunting for a Digicube-published FFX OST), I figured some of the Valkyrie Profilers here might be excited about it.

Tohoho, so sorry. Valkyrie was kind of re-released in the form of Cassandra's 3P outfit in Soul Calibur 2, but it's not quite the same thing...

No worries! I'm very happy with the FFIX soundtracks, thanks to you...I have it with me here at school, even. At any rate, this should be good news for Valkyrie folks, and I gather it was decent Sakuraba work.

Yeah, I consider the VP soundtrack one of Sakuraba's "good" works. I say "good" rather than "better", because some of his soundtracks are "good" and the others "aren't worth your time."
I enjoyed the voice arrange as well, though I was only crazy about maybe 2 tracks on it, it was quite interesting, and something I listened to quite a bit.
