Currently reading the Chronicles of the Dragonlance. My favourite mangas right now are Yakitate! Japan, Berserk, and Maison Ikkoku (hey, I'm reading it now). My favorite comic books right now are the New Avengers and Amazing Spiderman.
3. What is your favorite TV show right now?
"El Comisario", a Spanish TV series.
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (for the second time), and I'm also playing in Flyff, a free MMORPG that started at the end of last year.
5. Eagerly awaiting what game?
Final Fantasy XII, not because of being a FF, but because Matsuno is behind it.

Well, I'm looking for a job. I just graduated from college. I am actually doing an internship with a company in San Francisco, and it is going well, however I have another lead for a job in Tokyo that involves marketing and research. The Tokyo job looks like it couldddd happen, but it's not 100% yet, so this internship is a backup that might become a real job in the future.
2. What are you currently reading or current favorite book/manga/comic?
I'm reading The World is Flat, a book about globalization. Also reading Making Sense of Japanese, an amazing book for anyone of ANY skill level, and I'm gonna eventually start on How to Sound Intelligent in Japanese (it's a lost cause, but...), which is a vocab builder.
3. What is your favorite TV show right now?
I'm watching Umizaru Evolution (海猿), Iron Chef and Lost.
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
Rogue Galaxy, and eventually Silent Hill 4.
5. Eagerly awaiting what game?
Final Fantasy XII

PS3 because of Kojima, Revolution would come 2nd, if the 360 gets some really really good game (like a new Ninja Gaiden) and I'm rich, I'd buy it too. It's a pretty machine, I actually played it for the first time yesterday (not counting the in store kiosks).

What am I reading now? A few series by Asamiya Kia-san. What am I liking now? "Kidou Tenshi Angelic Layer". Seriously.

I try not to watch much television. If I were watching television right now, I'd be watching "Binchou-tan". =P
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
RPG: "Seiken Densetsu III". A lesson to remember: don't go dark all the way for the guys. It'll kill you. (I have Hawkeye as my leader if you're wondering.) In terms of a non-rpg, uh, I'm trying to beat "Final Fight II" on expert. (Already did that in "III".)
5. Eagerly awaiting what game?
In terms of what I ordered or what will be relased? In terms of what I ordered, "Twinkle Star Sprites II". In terms of the latter, "Pink Sweets".

Uh, Hotaru's Hakki Shou (her projectile). =P

Working as a programmer, working on my degree project (not eonugh, tho' :( )... Also trying to make new friends.

I'm currently reading Dracula, although really slowly, since I read it in OV and I can't help going to look into the dictionary each and every word I might have a little doubt with x_x.
As for manga, currently followin' (and loving oh-so-much!) Yotsubato! (Spanish version unfortunately, since Momotato stopped) and FMA (the manga!!). Also Naruto, for weekly fun, and 8-Bit Theater for fun at work ^_^, which has gotten to a quite interesting point.
3. What is your favorite TV show right now?
I recently discovered Aardman's Creature comforts. I can't watch it everyday, but when I can I certainly do!
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
Just finished Fahrenheit, currently squeezing every single item from Castlevania DoS... and the occasional game.
5. Eagerly awaiting what game?
Hmmm... Right now only Tetris DS comes to mind, but there are more, fo' sho'.

I have one book left in Clavell's Asian Saga. Reading Berserk, The All New Tenchi Muyo!, and Sgt. Frog on-and-off.

Arrested Development (what's left of it). Just started watching Bleach recently, and I'm really enjoying it.

This is great. We don't talk enough. We don't talk about video games enough. Even if I don't reply, I'm reading every one of these.
1. What are you doing now (life/work/etc)?
I recently moved into a fantastic new apartment and have been signed on to write for two new shows, both of which I love (for different reasons), but neither of which I can legally mention.
2. What are you currently reading or current favorite book/manga/comic?
The Count of Monte Cristo, which is my favorite book, despite the fact that I'm not finished with it. I read all sorts of manga, but I think One Piece has been especially good lately...and perhaps has the best overall track record of things I've read recently.
3. What is your favorite TV show right now?
Does it have to be ON TV right now? I don't watch TV. I don't even have cable. My all-time favorite is Turn A Gundam, though.
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
Dirge of Cerberus and Kingdom Hearts 2.
5. Eagerly awaiting what game?
Cry On. I've got some waiting to do.
6. Special move
I need a name for it, but I take 100 punches then return them all in one blow.

Yay! I just like non-crappy 2D fighters though. They don't have to be fantastic, just good. KOFXI more than exceeds those expectations.

Currently, I'm reading a book by Diana Gabaldon (my wife kinda forced me) and it's suprisingly good! Comic-wise, I just got V for Vendetta, since I wanna read it before the film comes out... No manga right now. (I should get back to those berserk scanlations I got somewhere on my computer...)

Lost, CSI, Mythbusters
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
Guitar Hero (2 days ago, I finally beat it on expert, so I got my Battle Axe Guitar, sweet! No gotta go through the bonus songs. This game rocks so much.) Also meaning to finish Shadow Hearts 2, and Trauma Center. Just got Zelda: Minnish Cap, so I guess I'll spend time on that for the next month...

I'm majoring in Makai Kingdom, with minors in Soul Caliber III and We Love Katamari. I'm also trying to force myself to replay Avatar Tuner 2 on hard so I can face the stupid super boss....

Ya know, I really can't say that I'm eagering awaiting anything. The new Zelda will probably be fun, but I'm in no rush.

Battle Angel Alita: Last Order. Great artwork, storyline is getting a little too cute for my taste at times, though.

Actually, nothing interests me much nowadays except for sports. Couldn't tell you why. Last show that intrigued me was "The Biggest Loser", for no apparent reason.

Dragon Quest VIII... although I haven't played that game for almost a month. I have been on a Ridge Racer 6 kick as of lately.

Either Turbo SF for XBox Live Arcade on 360, or Rogue Galaxy (if it ever reaches our shores).

I am working in the advertising division of the largest videogame company in Tokyo, Japan.

I am reading Toru Fujieda's "Oyayubihime Infinity," which is an intelligent shoujo manga written by a man. I am also reading Eiji Yoshikawa's MUSASHI again.

I don't watch television.

I am playing Tales of the Abyss again, for whatever reason! I just finished Dirge of Cerberus, and enjoyed it thoroughly without being impressed at all. I gave up Kingdom Hearts II because I wasn't enjoying myself.

I really want to play cavia's Cry On and Bullet Witch. Whatever Bullet Witch is.

Three Kingdoms was fantastic for me once it built up to the Yellow Scarves, and kept me glued about until Lord Guan dies. After that, Cao Cao buys it as well, and the whole thing sort of unraveled for me, but I kept reading because there's still some good bits mixed in there. There hasn't been anything worth remembering since Zilong died though.
I think I started to dislike it because of the patterns it falls into. Like ignoring someone's advice _always_ leads to disaster, and the signs that predict things happening, the same tactics being used over and over... The personalities of the characters was my main interest, but people like Sima Yi are little more than names on the page.

1. What are you doing now (life/work/etc)?
Working as an administrative at a backhoe's factory and going on with my studies on English Phylology.
2. What are you currently reading or current favorite book/manga/comic?
So many books... the last book I've read "for leisure" is Ensayo sobre la ceguera (Essay on Blindness by José Saramago, about society's relaxed position towards our political and social problems. And I also agree that Jose Luis Borges FTW!!!
Lots of mangas too... well, I'm hooked with Negima! and Gantz, and to a lesser extent, I'm also enjoying Rozen Maiden and Air Gear. Yeah, I know, VERY hetereogenic mixture here ^^U
3. What is your favorite TV show right now?
I don't really watch YV at all but I happen to follow Aqui no hay quien viva, a spanish TV comedy set on the life of a group of neighbours and Homozapping, a humour program which consist on satiric and parodic sketches about TV/media "stars". Andreita comete el coño! Pollo! xD
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
Magna Carta Tears of Blood and Dragon Quest 8. Also enjoying several pc doujin games (especially fighting games and shooters). I love Zun ^^
5. Eagerly awaiting what game?
Dirge of Cerberus and Kingdom Hearts 2 in english. Siren 2, KOF Maximum Impact 2, KOF XI.

Yay, finally a thread meant to talk about oneself! How delightful! Let´s begin the narcissistic rumble:
1. What are you doing now (life/work/etc)?To be honest, I dunno very well... Technically, I´m supposed to work as an editor&staff writer on a fairly important busniness and industry magazine, but, in fact, I got paid for just idling and surfing the net. It´s a great job indeed. On top of that, I should start that goddamn Visual Arts doctorate course anytime soon, and I´m planning to retake my japanese lessons to get the 3rd grade in Nôryoku Shiken once for all. I guess taking the dog for a walk every day doesn´t count as an important vital activity, so I won´t mention it. Oh wait...
2. What are you currently reading or current favorite book/manga/comic?
Woah. Too much stuff to summarize... The only manga I keep reading are Ah! My Goddess, Ashita no Joe, and Angel Heart. Besides, I´m losing interest in chinese comics recently, thanks to Wing Shing Ma´s "innovative" storytelling.
And, as for books goes... well, I´m dealing with Romance of Three Kingdoms, and it totally rocks. But since it´s too damned long, I think I´ll end up combining it with Samson´s "A History of Japan Vol. II: 1333-1615" and an eventual re-read of my beloved "Japonius Tyrannus: Oda Nobunaga reconsidered". When I finish with Three Kingdoms, I may start with Genji Monogatari, or even Heike Monogatari, if I can found the spanish edition at a reasonable price.
I must add that my favourite book is James Clavell´s "Shogun", a totally priceless novel despite its terrible flaws. Pure gold. And, despite the fact he´s not my most readed author (that would be Yoshikawa Eiji, since I keep re-reading his "Taiko" and "Musashi" penthalogies on a regular basis), my all-time favourite writer is Oscar Wilde. The spanish translations of his works are utter crap though but, thanks to Wordsworth Classics, I can delight myself with his original sharpness.
3. What is your favorite TV show right now?
Actually, I sheldom watch TV, I´m more a radio man myself. In fact, I´ve even rather listen to soccer matches on the radio than watching them on TV... the only programs I usually watch are The Simpsons, Takeshi´s Castle, and Sumô or K-1 tournaments on Eurosport.
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
I´ve just finished Valkyrie Profile and I´m trying to decide what to play next. Maybe Shadow of Rome, maybe Persona, maybe Soul Calibur 3...
5. Eagerly awaiting what game?
That´s an easy one: Suikoden V.
6. Special move
Venomous Tongue, usually comboed with Endless Narcissism. Deals tons of cerebral damage, I tell you.
7. Resolution for 2006.
Dare to play a game in japanese once again. I´m pretty sure Suikogaiden will be the chosen one.
8. Prediction for 2006.
I´ll got bored before the first five hours of gameplay and I´ll switch off to a non-moonspeaking game. I got headache when I try to read kanji on a screen after all... It happened with Sakura Taisen 3 and it will happen again, I´m sure.
9. KOF XI-- yay, nay or bleh
KOF it´s not muy cup of tea... but I must admit this one looks interesting, to say the least.
10. PS3, Revolution or 360?
I´ve a lot of current generation games to play yet, so I don´t care very much about future consoles... But I suppose I´ll eventually end up buying the Revoltion when a new Zelda shows up (not the new gimmicks on Twilight Princess, I mean a Revolution-specific Zelda), and PS3 should be a most interesting option as well.

It seems a lot of people is reading Romance of Three Kingdoms right now... We should open a thread about it, so we can post our favorite quotes. There are TONS to choose!

I don't like to talk about me, but...
1. What are you doing now (life/work/etc)?
I'm trasforming my "maîtrise" into a "master", and abandonning the university field. I also have a part-time job at the very university I want to flee.
2. What are you currently reading or current favorite book/manga/comic?
Re-reading classics.
After Joyce's Ulysses, I'm reading my first book written in french since 2003 I guess, and it's Gustave Flaubert. I'll read it chronologically, it's gonna be a lot of fun.
Also, since I'm into astrology currently, I'm going to start studying Aries and Sagittarius. I've had enough of earth and air signs.
3. What is your favorite TV show right now?
Arrested Development, Desperate Housewives, Family Guy, Trick, Mushishi, and of course Glass no Kamen. But since I don't have a connexion at home, I can't watch the recent episodes and I'm not quite happy about that.
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
Not much, because my VGA box died as I was moving in my new appartment, so I have to wait for my new one before I can see anything on my PS2. So I only play Civ 4 from time to times. I'm BORED.
5. Eagerly awaiting what game?
Siren 2, and then maybe Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 2 for totally different reasons.
6. Special move
I don't want to talk about it. It's over, really.
7. Resolution for 2006.
Quitting my part time job to find the exact same job, but full time. Write yet another book in the meantime, and find an editor for it.
Also, buying a multipass to move out from my new appartment and move in the dozens of art cinemas in my neighborhood.
And find a woman to love. If possible with the sun in Sagittarius and a lot of Capricorn or Taurus in the important planets. And Venus in Aquarius.
8. Prediction for 2006.
I'll succeed in at least one of my resolutions, and maybe two.
9. KOF XI-- yay, nay or bleh
I guess it's a good KOF. Unfortunately, I stopped considering KOF a good series a long time ago.
10. PS3, Revolution or 360?
None of the three this year.
In 2007, I'll get the PS3 if something I want comes for it, and I'll hate it. I think the Revolution will interest me, but not enough to make me buy one.
In 2006, I may buy a DS, but most of all, I want my PS2 back.

Sorry to break from the subject, but you are talking about Blindness from Jose Saramago right!? The nobel peace prize winner for literature? That book was amazing... I read the english translation, and it was very scary, but very good... I just kept on imagining if that happened in the world... THe white blindness ... can't sleep, can't see the dark...

My contract as game designer expired on the first of february. I am now applying for a new job, possibly at Nintendo Europe. I am almost done writing my resume. I just learned I had a secret female admirer at (my now previous) work, who thought I was the most sensual person in the studio. Ha! Otherwise I would define myself as single, most of the time. I need to call Iggy and Guillaume around the week and plan a drink together so I can dispose of both of them before they get themselves some girls they have no decent right to steal from us heterosexual slobs. This is the only thing we have left!
2. What are you currently reading?
I am re-reading Les bases, a most valuable cooking book about the basics, to be sure I'll cook a correct meal when a lady friend comes by to have dinner with me in a few days.I am also training my japanese on Mediax Mook #276, focusing on the Neo Geo, NGP and WS libraries.
3. What is your favorite TV show right now?
I do not watch nor have a TV anymore. I am eager to grab a copy of the complete Profit series, recently released in France, though.
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
I just finished Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 2, and Gambare Goemon DS before that. Two good games.

I'll get the three of them eventually. The DS has convinced me that Nintendo was onto something under Iwata's management, so it might be the Revo first - especially if it is as cheap as rumored. For the PS2, it only depends on when MGS4 comes out.

1. What are you doing now (life/work/etc)?
After finishing my studies on January, I'm currently looking for my first job. I guess it's about damn time to get myself a way of self-supporting...
2. What are you currently reading?
"The Romance of Three Kingdoms", the wolrd-famous Chinese novel Maese and I recently bought via Amazon USA. The novel is pretty enjoyable, but reading about 3200 pages in English is taking me more time than I expected, and it can be tiring at times...
About comics and such... the last one I bought was Katsuya Terada's "The Monkey King/ Saiyukiden Daienoh vol.1". but I regularly follow a bunch of scanlated series, such as "Souten no Ken", "Hokuto no Ken 2" and "Berserk".
I'm also into some chinese series such as "Storm Riders" and "The 4 Constables", being those two the ones I like most.
3. What is your favorite TV show right now?
I do not watch TV, out of a film-oriented space from a regional channel, called "La noche de..." (The night of...*insert random movie here*).
Takeshi's Castle reedition is also good, but I download the episodes, as I'm not at home when they are broadcast...
4. What RPG or other video game are you playing right now?
I recently finished (again) Valkyrie Profile, the only RPG I've ever played twice (besides the short-but-great AZEL PDRPG). Now I simply play MAME games or Silkroad Online, the vbest MMORPG I've seen this far (not that I've seen a lot of them but, heh)
5. Eagerly awaiting what game?
Lots of them, but I guess I'll have to wait a looooong time till I can play them :
