So target.com is selling this arcade cabinet with a couple of Neo Geo Games on it. 399.00 aint a bad price...

I personally have been looking for a dedicated mame type of system. I would like to play guwange and a bunch of other mame games on my tv....

I wonder if this thing can be hacked to play newer neo geo roms.

I called my local target and they were clueless.

Update: Thanks to insert credit.com for info they are upgrading the games in 2006.

I might wait for the updated version to come out. Pity the rumor is the buttons are cheap.

Pretty please check out my neato sweet awesome webpage

Ingenious plan, but I wish there were better games. Who wants to play KOF95 anyway?

Plus, I saw the Midway version of this, and I'm not too impressed with the quality of the setup. You can probably find a full MVS cabinet out there if you really wanted to for a few extra hundred bucks.

Those old red and black Neo Geo game cabinets never seemed to work correctly so it may make for a more accurate arcade experience if the buttons didn't always work or one of the sticks wouldn't move left. Spilling a few drinks on the cabinet or stubbing out a cigarette or two on the control panel would also help add to the feeling of nostalgia.

While I'm a bit surprised that SNKP feels there's enough of a nostalgia market in the US for this set-up why is this the only compilation of their games in the US?

I always thought that Street fighter was made by capcom.

"This is a great machine for any age of arcade lovers, especially fans of the street fighter and first mortal kombat games (because that is what SNK was known for)."
