Famitsu score 39/40, but it's Famitsu, so take it with a grain of salt.
I figured this would be a good place to ask about impressions, since there are enough jaded people on here to really determine how it stacks up against, say, Tales of the Abyss and Rogue Galaxy (of which I'm having a lot of fun with at the moment).
Not to say KH2 may not be totally deserving of whatever gushing it's going to get, but I just find it funny that the majority of the people are excited over the fact that <insert Disney or FF character here> is in the game, while the original characters are barely even recognized.

While people are genuinely excited about the cameos, I've never actually gotten that impression from the KH2 community. They're always talking about Sora and Roxas and the Enigmatic Man and DiZ and Namine and blah blah blah. You don't see Wall of Text Tarzan theories and shit.

Yes and 1 month after the japanese will have a Final mix version with the US stuff and more...
Edit: kh2.co.uk have many movies from the game including intro movie, various game part, and ending...
56K forget it all movies are 25Mb minimum...

Rrrrrg...I dunno if I want this or not. I've been buying a lot of games lately. I'm SO happy with Tales of the Abyss right now that I might wait. But I don't want to wait for the English one, because the novelty of hearing Disney characters in Japanese outweighs the feelings of disinterest I have towards Disney in general.

Not too concerned about KHII (I haven't played the first one). However, NCSX has NeoGeo Battle Coliseum on the PS2. I'm more interested in this, but I'm wondering when the game will be out in the US. I had heard the game was to be released on the X360, but what about the PS2?

I imported the game from Play Asia and it should be here sometime soon. I am hoping that it will work through the Swap Magic loading disc unlike The Rumble Fish.

I've read that NGBC has terrible loading times on the PS2 - 13 seconds from character select to Round 1.

Well, yes and no. It is quite bad at first, but if you play survival mode, you have one bad load at the beginning, and it's pretty much OK after that. I don't know what the hell is wrong with SNK and loading time.
