Silber still has his Buriki moves... and it looks like he does almost as much damage as he did in Buriki, too. (The old leg-drop thing used to KO you pretty much instantly)

BTW Red since knows Buriki better than us, here a little question Silber have 2 DM, one being the Leg-drop, at you guess what would be his LDM?

All of his moves are high priority and high damage and I mean all. He's quite a tough nut to crack. He had a move that instantly breaks your guard, I don't think I've seen it in the video.

Playmore seems to have worked this Time since Adel is playable in japan and china. Seems that a Time release a la Tekken is working.

Umm.. there aren't any projectiles in Buriki, and there aren't supers, it's a very realistic game with the exception of Silber who could fly around the ring and stuff. All of his most distinct and memorable moves are there, and the one super he does (the little combo thing) is a combo he does from the game. I'll pop it in this weekend and see if he had anything else distinctive I'm forgetting.

Hey Red, I think this game has been discussed plenty in the past but I have to ask-- what did you think of this game? I read the only FAQ on it at gamefaqs and it just mentions the unconventional control system. What did you think of this game? Was it any good?

BTW, what Neo Geo 64 games got ported to the home consoles? I don't think Buriki made it unfortunately. And other then Silber and Ryo, what other Buriki characters have made it to other games?

Only Wild Ambition, for PS1. It's an all-right port, I guess. If they ever do a complete Samurai Spirits collection, they should put Samurai Tamashii and Asura Zanmaden on there, too. Personally I'd like to see either an updated Asura Zanmaden or a 2D rendition of it, but neither will ever actually happen.

I guess we have a vague pattern to the secret characters, then. At least, as far as those borrowed from other SNK series. One hero and one ultimate boss.

I wonder what the justification is intended to be. It's like there's other things going on within or at the same time as KOF this year, that the normal teams just bump into during the course of the tournament. Like other people's problems are somehow getting absorbed into the fray. People who aren't really associated with KOF at all.

Curious.

I think Imoya is trying to take the Yumeji route here. But without any scenario to back the sprite up, I don't think they'll go anywhere with it.
Also, if it was 100% a woman, it would be a tsundere without any dere, so...

That makes the sprites for these guys look... rather large, in comparison to the main cast.
