Doujin circle Tasogare Frontier has combined forces with 07th Expansion to make the happy battle game, Higurashi Frontier. This is their first 3D game too. AND IT'S HIGURASHI.

Higurashi keeps coming back in different forms to haunt the uncool people that haven't played the game.

Also, the TV anime will include the first 6 chapters in the story. Which I can only imagine to be completely and utterly impossible.

I saw that on doujingame.com and wanted to make a news about it, but then I realized I don't know a single thing about Higurashi (´･ω･`)ｼｮｰﾎﾞﾝ

Subject as in, the original game?

The game spans a total of 8 chapters, with the first 4 being the murder cases, and the next 4 being the answers.

The different murder chapters are basically the different "branches" in the same scenario. That is "this murder would have happened under these circumstances". That is, each chapter takes place over the same timeline and the same characters, but a different murder happens each time. And all the murders are seemingly connected to a series of serial murders that happened over the past 5 years. So using the information gathered through each branch, the player is supposed to solve each murder presented and finally also solve the serial murder that has been happening over the past 5 years.

The game plays in a linear manner, that is, you cannot make any choices to affect the story, the only thing you can do is read it.

It brags about it's 1% chance of getting the answer right. That's about how hard it's supposed to be.

And the game's creepy too. I'm kind of a horror fan, but no other movie/game/book creeped me out like that game.

Oh I see, so if I remember correctly that's the horror game Chupiler (or was it Holiday?) and you mentioned to Iggy when he asked about horror doujin games a few months ago, right ?

The reverse port of To Heart 2 from the PS2 to the PC is causing a stir again, as shops report that the rate of pre-orders coming in is even faster than that of when Fate/hollow ataraxia first started taking pre-orders. If the rate of pre-orders is maintained... it's going to beat Fate!?

First the trial/trailer came together with Kusari, completely overshadowing that game. Then shops started giving discounts in celebration of To Heart 2 XRATED. To Heart fever only started when they announced XRATED. Hmmmmmmm.

The To Heart 2 anime gives people horrible nightmares of To Heart R.

There's also that To Heart2 desktop accessory to look out for, and tons of preorder goodies to make the ToHeart2 otaku go mad. And the anime series is ok so far? Seen 2 episodes and I don't think I'm dropping it yet.
