Haven't seen you online so I'll make this quick.

This guy from DeviantArt had stolen over a dozen of your drawings and took the credit for himself:

Even some of that girl that looks like Leona that a drawboard guy created (Suzy was it?).

Basically, I took the work to report each one of your pics as a violation of the rules and he seems to be banned now, with all the artwork erased.

Just wanted to tell you that :(

Everybody else, feel free to suscribe this guy to pr0n mail lists.

I don't know about Undead Fred, but if a guy stole my artwork and took credit for it, I would be flattered, and would let him know that I'm aware of his naughty behavior. That would be better than reporting and getting him banned. But that's just me.
And Suzy wasn't the greatest character design to begin with, but to each his own.

I mean, it's not like he's making a profit of it, he just want some attention. If people praise those pics, they're praising Undead Fred.

You're absolutely right, but people just don't work like that. People are attention-starved underhanded pathetic creatures that resort to things like stealing other people's artwork for a false sense of...of...I don't even know what.

I feel sorry for this guy for being SO pathetic that he would do something like this, but that's no reason to indulge him. It's not fair to anyone involved.

I understand your point perfectly, but maybe I haven't explained mine properly.
We still don't know Fred's opinion about it, maybe he would have handled it differently, or maybe not, but we will never know it since Rid jumped the gun and reported the guy.
The guy obviously admired Fred's artwork, and used it as his own, which is wrong, but I can't help but think about more viable ways than to ridiculize the poor guy and asking other people in a very populated forum to subscribe him to porn mailing lists. I know I'm not the voice of reason and tolerance here, but one thing is to throw bullshit withing "our" domains to each other, and other thing is to try to sink the poor guy by exposing him before hundred of easily manipulable and gullible jerks that wouldn't think twice when subscribing him to clown porn...

A simple email to Fred explaining him the problem would have been more than enough. Maybe Fred would have sent the guy another mail explaining his reasons and ended this mess without getting people banned and with their inbox clogged with shit.

Sorry for my poor english, I will improve it one of these days, I swear.

Yeah, I am kind of flattered that someone liked my stuff enough to rip it off, but I still don't like that he did that in the first place. I don't go to DeviantArt much at all, so I'm glad Rid came across that page and said something. I do kind of feel sorry for that kid since he's got to get attention by grabbing ANYONE's artwork and claiming it was his own, whether it was my work or not. I don't mind too much that he got banned, but I'm not really mad enough to bomb his e-mail box or whatever. I think the only thing I really wanted done in this case was just to have my artwork taken off of his page and that's about all, really.

Anyway, good work finding that, Rid. And thanks for letting me know.

And don't be AFFRAID TO ASK ME ABOUT GENISUS GAMES.

Reminds me of this guy that a friend of mine showed me a while back- there was some guy that had put together a web page showing off his computer animation work... but it was a whole bunch of random CG work that he had found on the web. He had thrown in a couple of things that were very possibly his, but they were extremely low quality. So, it was really suspicious that his work ranged from awful all the way up to excellent and that his style was all over the place. Anyway, I can't remember details, but I want to say he was sending that link out trying to get jobs with it or something, but artists of the original works and other people who knew better exposed him.

I still don't know what he expected to happen if he had gotten the job...

There was some person who took some old fanfiction and tried to push it as his own. FANFICTION. Stuff I don't even like admitting to writing in the first place. Some people do crazy things.
