I have honestly no idea what kind of game this commercial is for. There is no date on the commercial except for the upload date to the website. The only Hokuto no Ken thing I can dig up on Nintendo's site is the DS pachislot game (good lord, how many versions of this are out now? Four?).
But every time I look at this video, I am deeply moved. In my dreams, it is in fact an advertisement for the upcoming 2D fighter.

This looks quite crappy, in fact, it's so ugly that I'd assume it's just a fake vid but, who knows?

Come on, my 5 year old cousin can make a better fake ad than that... I mean, if they were to use images from the manga (and ONLY that) in their ad, wouldn't you think they would do better than crappy scans (you can even see the gap between pages) and the title screen for the game has been filmed from another game... There is no doubt that it's fake!
