Our favourite construction workers addict at UGCP made a new game, this time without jin. The art is done by Senga Mikiri, as is 90% of the rest of the game.

The art is a lot more amateur than jin's one, but to think Mikiri made everything (except the music and some debugging work here and there) is quite amazing.
Opening movie (work safe) (10 mo)
There are two different scenarios : one is about parrallel worlds, and people, called "pointers", who share the same "parts" in all the different worlds, and someone trying to kill all of them. The other one, seemingly unrelated to the first one, is about two cops, a serial killer, and behaded corpses. I haven't been too far in the game yet, but both actions are extremely well written, I like the characters, and everything is extremely intriguing. It's to the point where the H scenes become bothersome because they prevent you from continuing further in the action.
The biggest success of the game is the ambiance. The music and weird sounds you can hear through the game are creepy, there are a lot of subliminal images and shapeless illustrations... It's incredibly well done for a game nearly made by one person. Even if you're not gay, if you think you can survive through a few porn drawings here and there, you should try the demo on the site.
And a final note : this is not a date sim, but an interactive novel. Which means there is a LOT more text than in any other game of the studio ; if you think you are able to read a full novel in japanese (and if you like horror stories) (and, well, I guess liking naked male bodies wouldn't hurt either), you should definitely try this game. To say the least, it's a great way to train you japanese.
Like Ie, Tatemasu!, the game can be bought at Rainbow Shoppers. Don't forget to use the patch on the main site, no problems have been reported (on japanese computers) with a patched game.
