I'm not really into the SS series anymore (dwindled like after SS4), but this will be good news for fans. It's only available for XBox. Good for SNK for actually making an effort to make their games marketable for us American audiences for once (they've been doing really good on this lately).

Also on the 7/29 article of Cyberfanatix.com , new Arcadia scans are up of NGBC (which was delayed right?) Including a new boss Goodman and the return of Dio (the art for him is great). I wonder if this game will also bother to come to the US.

Neo Dio, is that like the SNK God since Dio means God in Spanish LOL! Reminds me of Blackheart, very nice character design. Goodman looks strange but I'm digging his artwork too. Sort of reminds me of the Fatal Fury Movie villains plus Anime Krauser for some reason, and those are good things to remind me of.

But in all seriousness, is there bad hype over NGBC? Is it really as bad as SvC? Please tell me it's a little bit better.

) In the Dominican Republic we tend to leave off the S a lot of times for slang, so we would call him Dio, say pistola(gun) without the s and say pitola, and so on. That's how I was raised and when I speak Spanish it's like that. But it's slang talk. Um, I'm not exactly sure you'd call it slang since adults talk like that, it's only like professors, rich people and stuff in the Dominican Republic who don't speak that way. Listen to a lot of Merengue and you'll get it. You'll even hear Dio a few times.

SS5's been up to release in October for a while. SS5 had blood and was developed prior to SNKP turning hemophobic, so I'm not concerned with that. On top of this, SS5 will also get a properly translated story mode in this, so it should be a good buy for XBox owners. Whether or not I'll buy an XBox myself for this game remains to be seen.

I think Herman will make some kind of announcement regarding a US release of NGBC soon, so I'm not concerned with that either.

As mentioned before SSV was playable for Xbox at E3, but an early build so it was kind of choppy. Sprites looked good though. They should make this a 2 pack with '94.
