Noise Factory is going to announce something Gôketsuji-related in a few days.

I'd love it if they released the complete OST for a broader audience.

Yeah, I second that. The last Power Instinct was simply great...and what a wonderful soundtrack it had!! (Tin-Nen theme was awesome!!)

There was nothing great about the game except the music and the character art. I mean, you could have fun with it, and it wasn't really BAD, but saying it was "simply great" is an insult to fighting games that have deep, balanced gameplay (and not such awful, choppy animation). If all fighting games that came out were as "great" as it, then the market would be in even more trouble than it is already.

That being said, I still enjoyed the game and I hope to see a pretty Atomiswave sequel where the sprites actually look like the character art. They had good design and good characters, but they were ruined by choppy, cheapyly drawn, unexpressive, poorly animated sprites.

Yeah, even Matrimelee's character art and sprites were pretty mismatched sometimes. Especially Keith and Buntaro. Probably a few others I'm forgetting, too.

The strong point of the Gohketsuji games is definitely the music and characters. If only everything else would catch up.

I think the best game in the series is probably Groove on Fight. It's actually pretty well-animated compared to the other games and quite playable. If only they could manage a sequel.

Yes, the transformations also made the game a lot more fun. Matrimelee definitely could've brought them back, though.

EDIT: I realized Groove on Fight does have transformations...I think only with Popura and Remi, though, not Oume and Otane.

I know, but then they switch right back. They looked pretty cool in Groove on Fight, too, it's sad they weren't able to switch.

I guess we all know what needs to be in the next game.

Personally, as much as I like having the 4 "RotD" characters there in the latest game, they totally felt out of place. Whether or not I'll see them again or some other characters in that game, I don't know. We'll have to wait and see.

If so, then it's worth pointing out that in the title there's the word Ichizoku, which is Japanese for Clan.Good to point out something that may or not fit in the shit.

There is a difference between doing it FIRST and doing it RIGHT.
