I basically used knowledge I already had, plus internet sleuthing, plus translation. Originally I got some of the info from a game-science post, but it turned out most of that was wrong, so I redid it.

Though if the music in Parfait Station is as good as the trailer, then I'll play it anyway...

This is unrelated, but I'm glad to see that the articles on Gamasutra are avaliable without registration. Since I'm not in the biz I don't have much access to Game Developer magazine but I do find many of the articles interesting. For instance, I particularly enjoyed the piece by Bob Bates discussing the archetype of the hero's quest even if the editor was asleep at the wheel and left in two paragraphs that are practically identical.
