I saw this link to them on Insert-Credit. 5 bucks a survey, but I figure I could get a few in my spare time. Is this legit, or just some way for them to snatch addresses for junk mail and gleefully reject all applicants?

that stuff always sounds like a scam to me. we're going to get rid of those random ads really soon. replacing with jlist!
