I sealed my copy of the game after I finished it 4 times in one month (Sif - Grey - Aisha - Jamil; a little less than 200 hours total).

Because the Ultimania guides are actually the intruction booklets to those kind of system heavy games (like U : Saga or Legend of Mana). The one sold with the game and the tutorial inside it are too short to cover extensively everything. And they are already damn long.

I mean, sure, we already figured out many things by ourselves (we = the rabid players of the game) but we don't know yet the definite formula to count the EP diminution (I think the closest we have is weapon level x1.5 + class level x1.25 + number of skills x0.25 or 0.125, I'm not sure) for example. We NEED to know the exact one.
There are several core things of the game that have not been discovered yet (what exactly trigger Sheril's appearances, for example, or which place's entrance make the time flow, and at what exact speed). Plus all the scenario, lore, bits of information, interviews, etc.

I recently watched a Minstrel vid which only showed a sort of wanderer in a red cape, but it looked great!! I wonder if that was just a CG intro or a console generated sequence. In case it's the latter, that game looks really promising... WTF, I'd be content as long as this game doesn't resemble Unlimited Saga...

U.saga is a really good game IMO. with some of the nicest character made for an RPG.
The game mechanics are sometimes hard to grasp, but I've enjoyed it a lot...
Especialy with Armic.....

No, it wouldn't be interesting because Dark/Arudora has his/her own scenario and is already a bonus once you've finished the game a few times and triggered a few key events. If they reuse him/her as a bonus once you've cleared everything, it will really feel uninspired.

Buy the skill AND the map ability, if possible for all your character, then equip both.
They are not available widely, at least South Estamil has them. Maybe North Point, or Godongo ?
