Hey guys, this weekend will sure kick start the halfway point of this year in the best of ways, because it's time for The King Of Fighters XI.SNK Playmore will in fact launch in a few more hours the second loke test for the new KOF.
The test will take place at Club Sega and Chateau EX.
Well, since I tried to continue the discussion of the game ahead of this second test in the first KOF XI thread made by the Professor but failed, and since Iggy-san due to his busy schedule didn't note it, I decided to give you the second thread for The King Of Fighters XI.
Blast away men!(Good one.)

There is a difference between doing it FIRST and doing it RIGHT.

All characters are usable. Whip has a new super where she moves forward while whipping, laughably bad.
Maxima’s D is new, looks like Daimon’s. His jump D is also new, drop kick.

Iori copipe copipe. His new moves makes him use just the finish animation of the Saika.
Eiji’s leader super is an air move. Nothing much new here. It’s not his 95 sprite, he’s been arranged to post 96 proportions (his intro against a kyokugen team member comes from Billy/Iori’s intro in 98 (copicopicopipe). His moves have a lot of priority, no lag… Duolon->Eiji.
Alps no shôjo Adelheid has a new Kaiser Wave. His protection and power are multiplied, he’s über strong (he’s the middle boss).
The last boss is 中国が舞台の映画で、事件が起きたら真っ先に不幸が振りかかりそうな感じの村娘. HAHAHAHAHA. She’s quite weak compared to Heidi.

SNK Vs Capcom Chaos.
Neo Geo Battle Collosseum.

Actually, if you count CvS Pro, Savior 2 and Hunter 2, Morrigan comes quite close. Also, Iori's 95 sprite is different.

When Iori wasn't playable in the initial testing the latest round of rumors that SNKP was going to update his sprite/movelist or give him some new clothes started up again. Now, however, it seems the reason he was unselectable was because the programmers assumed everybody knows how to play the guy already so he was left out so people would try some of the new characters instead.

Speaking of demo...
When you beat Shion (the middle boss), she says Mukai openned the door, but Orochi doesn't seem to have awaken. Then the real boss (Magai or Magaki) arrives, kills her ("Mukai said it, didn't he? [we] will send Orochi's soul to our master") and the fight begins. Apparently, his clothes are closer to Virtue than to Batistin, I misread the comment.

Because the Japanese culture looks down on women as subserviant inferiors to men, such as when they left out one of Sakura's lines in that one episode (of Naruto) and now they make her more dependent and desperate for Sasuke than intended in the manga. kof xi loke test no.2 report (sunday):

- last boss is a mizuchi looking guy who seems to be part alien and neodio as well. he floats above the ground ala mizuchi iirc and seems to be dressed in a similar manner with similar marks on his upper body. his eyes are just blue ovals though and he looks crazy with his hair back ala sonic or something. he has a crazy twisted body stance/style despite being really tall. he's crazy strong and uses a pink/white energy. his bg is like the 97 orochi one though at night and with two giant demon thing statues. he can turn transparent, do an arm teleport attack ala the mummy in darkstalkers and when he attacks with limbs they go rubbery and he sorta flails them. cool points = 7/10

- 2nd last boss is the one iggy mentioned. a very thin youngish looking chinese girl sorta dressed in a traditional chinese suit (the ones children wear with shorts not long pants) and carries a staff. her movement and stance/poses look cool and when you beat her before you go onto the last boss theres a short cutscene and the close up of her face makes her look like something out of the ring or a zombie. cool points = 8.5/10 (card man is like 9.5/10)

- ash has a new j.C and s.C. both arms back like a hawk diving or soemthing. looks pretty cool. ground one is similar sort of thing.

- alley is a stage i didnt see last time. its in front of the pao pao and is a hood type area at night with the spectators lurking in the shadows in the background.

- ugh the sprites really irk me. i just cant get over how low detail they are. the faces are all going the way of malin seemingly made up of only a few pixels with big eyes and mouths... i swear they look better in 2k3. which sucks coz otherwise aesthetically speaking its a really nice package. the interface and win screens etc are all really slick with the ingame after win screens seemingly done buy falcoon or the guy who just started doing art recently (okuda?) hard to tell but i like the look.

- i still dont like the feel of it. 2k3 feels better imo.

- eiji has a new face and seems chunkier. all energy effects are new and he has a new move that seems to have ripped zantetsu command throw (cloak grab) and hanzos air super off.. he cloak grabs you on the ground then does the hanzo split into 2 air beat down move... ninja heritage or just laziness?

- cool lens flair effect on hawaii (??) stage.

- momoko has dredds... looks about 12 years old.. is dressed like richard from ff or eddie gordo sort of.. indeed seems to be doing capoeira.. very small.

- judgement seems to be on momentum, damage done and combos (which give you lots of bar).

-maxima has a new s.D which is an awkward high kick.

-sie's stance has changed. his face is also rerdrawn. his fb is as 2k2 but his 99 dash punch is qcf or hcf. looks like hes lost his three part forward moving attack. hes got some funky color variations and is nice to play.
