Haven't actually played Gunbound in a while, but this is pretty much just a notice to those of you who still have the Gunbound client sitting on your comp, in case you still play it on occasion. You'll need to download a new one, for what Softnyx labels a major update:

The updates, in summary? Two new mobiles, seven new maps, some interface updates and changes, and a change in acquiring equips from a purchase to a rental system (though, any equips you currently have, you keep). How radical of an update it'll feel like, that remains to be seen -- but for a nice little game that we play for free thanks to them, it's not bad at all.
