Gekka 1&2 will be released the 30th of June, and will have online play.
KOF Nowave will also be released the 23rd of June, and will have characters not present in the arcade version.
43 characters + α. And it will be online as well.
I guess the characters will be some of thoses missing from KOF 02 (Seth, K9999, Angel, Mey Lee, and Rugal I think?). If there are no bugs and at least Angel and Seth are in it, I'll take it as a port of 02 with extra features, eh.
Also, not Imoya related but NxC cover
it's just a copipe of the character arts...

The only thing with less imagination that this NxC cover is, in fact, KoF Neowave, the 伝説糞格闘ゲーム.
Gekka is more than welcome though.

Weren't K9999, Angel and May Lee Eolith-exclive characters or something to that effect, and as such very unlikely to appear in future (KoF) games not handled by that company?...
Seth and Rugal seem likely, but since I don't remember the Neowave cast that well, I have this feeling we might get the SvC trio that made it to the home versions of 2K2... now if only Eiji had rolling animations or SNKP bothered to give him some...

Sano : I don't think he draw the 200 characters (like the evil characters for example) but still, you're right. They could have hired a Capcom illustrator, maybe...?

Of all the characters possible, Angel and Mey Lee (and Seth maybe) are possible pic, and so are Goenitz and Bôsô Iori (or even old Geese, why not). The only one I wouldn't bet on would be K9999, because they seem really ashamed of him.
Ah, Kusanagi isn't in Nowave, is he? He might be in as well, maybe?

How about Ash, Duolon, and Shen Woo?
Neowave will be great if SNK includes them, also with K9999, Angel, Maylee, Seth, Geonitz, old Geese, Kusanagi, and Boso Iori.
That'll be the KOF2002: Perfect Edition!

Ash and Shen would be nice. Duo would probably need a lot of work to fit in the NeoWave engine, though.
