Some new characters appear. Question is, I don't know most of them.
I do recognize Zoro from One Piece (even though he was already confirmed, but never seen in game), Sakura (Naruto) and Yoh (Shaman King - but where are Sanosuke and Kurama???).
However, there are three more people, I think. One blonde girl in a motorbike (she also appear changing her clothes), one blonde guy doing a kind of Summersault Kick, and a woman (I think) who seems to be dressed like Kyo Kusanagi.
Can anyone say who are all these new characters seen in game?? Will we ever see characters from old but great stories like Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Saint Seiya?? Time will tell...

The three characters in question are all from One Piece. The blonde kicking guy is Sanji, the nekkid scooter chick is Nami, and the Kyo-ish girl is Nico Robin. Hey that reminds me... One Piece Grand Battle Combat Rush is out... I wonder if it's any good. Anything has to be better than Grand Battle 3.
Besides Yoh from Shaman King... there's really no other series announced to be the game yet, but I'm sure the roster will be big enough to please most fans.

Wow, interesting... Since I never read One Piece (I just know Ruffy because he appears constantly in magazine covers), I thought Sanji would be a fat guy, but look at him... Nami is very pretty, and Robin has a very cool look!
So now, the characters seen so far (fighters and summons) are:
- Dragon Ball Z: Goku (yes, Vegeta and Gohan were shown in an artwork, but let's wait until they appear in the game screenshots)
- Bobobo Bo Bobobo (or something like that): Bobobo
- One Piece: Ruffy, Zoro, Nami, Chopper, Robin, Sanji
- Naruto: Naruto, Sasuke, Rock Lee, Sakura (I hope they also add Kakashi, he's cool)
- Ichigo 100%: Aya Toujou
- Death Note: Raito and Ryuuku (as one character apparently)
- Eyeshield 21: Sena (but his sprite wasn't shown yet...)
- Shaman King: Yoh (probably with Amidamaru)
Since Naruto seems to be the new fashion anime, it's strange that it has only 4 characters in the game against 6 One Piece characters (but probably there will be more).
Again, let's wait to see if they will add anyone from old but great series like Rurouni Kenshin (Sano, Kenshin, Misao...), JoJo's Bizarre Adventures (Jotaro, Polnareff, Mariah...), Yu Yu Hakusho (Kurama, Yusuke, Hiei, Botan as a helper) and Saint Seiya (Shiryu, Seiya, Ikki...).

Well, at least Magic Box used the plural when it came to Shaman King (I recall reading theories accoring to which, with the exception of Dragon Ball (Z), all of the titles represented were still being published in Shonen Jump, and that no longer seems to be the case with Shaman King... - I wonder what Takei's working on nowadays... - if other older series are getting represented, all the better, but I'd rather focus on those already in...), and the main character's already in - at least this opens up some hopes for the likes of Faust and Silver, although I figure someone like Ren might make it into the game first...

The very first pic in the Magic Box article shows Yoh using Amidamaru's oversoul form... dunno if any other form (like Spirit of Sword or simply his typical floating ghost self) will be in, but I figure it's a pretty safe bet that the Shinkuu BuddhaKiri (the spelling changes in every source I read from, so this is my extrapolated version =P ) projectile attack will be in... if Goku has his beam...

I recall reading that Naruto's Rock Lee is a helper character, not a directly controllable one - maybe this also applies to some of the One Piece characters revealed so far?...

On an almost unrelated note, yesterday I got to try DS's version of Wario Ware (just made it to the shops here, where I tried it out), and the touch screen seemed to already be in rough shape, even if it worked fine so far...
I can't help but wonder how easily it might degrade over time and thus spoil the experience of some games that rely heavily on it (IIRC Shonen Jump Superstars needs it for helper activation) - it's not like the machine is that cheap or seems build so you can have only the bottom of it replaced if the touchscreen goes bad...

Mr. Fullswing?! Out of all the series like Kenshin, Jojo, etc... and they use Mr. Fullswing?! Ah well, at least that list clears up who are playable characters and who are support characters. One Piece seems to be dominating the roster... Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, and Nico Robin are all playable characters, with Chopper being the only support character from One Piece.
Could anyone please translate this list to English? I don't understand anything in there!
Release date on 8/8? Interesting. They Do have time to add more and more people (even if just helpers); I wouldn't mind seeing Kurama or Polnareff as support characters, as long as they DO appear in the game.

I wish this was the case. Or that the support players would be unlockable. I don't think I care about any of the non-support characters.
Also, I LIKE Mr. Fullswing, so you won't hear complaints from me. I used to really love it, but I feel like it's gone on for too long now.
I saw a list at GameFAQs, but it doesn't seem very reliable (it states that Raito and Ryuuku are playable characters, and counting as separate fighters, and it mentions lots of characters from Bobobo's manga but it doesn't mention Aya Toujou...).
Anyway, what's the name of the character from Mr. Fullswing who is confirmed in J!SS?? Do you know, Pollyanna??

I haven't read this part of Mr. Fullswing in a while, so it may be off, but...
Yeah, the characters were tracking one of their teammates for one reason or another and Karnov (wearing a girl's school uniform) came out of a resturant. One of the characters was talking on cell phone and was like "UOOOOOOH! It's Karnov! No way...I mean...is that a woman? She looks like Karnov!" Then he spit 3 fireballs at once and he was like "He spit 3 fireballs! It IS Karnov!" Then Karnov went to a record store , but for some reason, he immediately set off the alarms (he was a bit confused) and was escorted out of the store and arrested.
THAT is why Mr. Fullswing is awesome.
Also, Karnov was damned hard, though not as hard as Athena.

OK I'll soften my criticism of Mr. Fullswing. I'm just mad because you know who is not in the game so far.
And Karnov was hard. It was still a terrible game but had an annoyingly addictive quality to it. As in, "this game sucks but I must beat it."
Ryu and Chun-Li forever!
