Thanks to Kikkoken, I fixed a terrible wardrobe malfunction just in time.
So :

if you play alone, you can chose grand prix mode or time attack mode.
in GP, you must beat all races and win all 6 trophies (Mario cup, DK cup, Wario cup, Pacman Cup, Kuppa Cup, Rainbow Cup).
During the test, you could play Mario (easy) DK (normal) and Kuppa (very hard).
The 11 characters were there, and this time they had differences, in speed, weight and max speed, from 1 to 5 on each parameter.
Each cup has 4 round, and you can't continue to the next round until you have won. You win items by winning. The items are determined by roulette like in the home version. The coins = your speed, like in the usual game. You can choose your item only in the 4th round.
There are minigames when you win a cup. In Mario Cup, you get a watermelon and have to push it to the goal in 30 seconds.
