Even though I've been a fan of jojo ever since the PS game came out, I recently started to read the translated volumes and I'm really enjoying them. So far, I am in the Third series , Vol. 15 , where they are going to india.

So , do any of you guys know good Jojo sites?

Where are you getting the manga from? The only place I knew that used to have scans of it (that one hosted by highervoltage) seems mostly dead, and Viz or whoever hasn't started releasing en mass has it?

I didn't know there were translations out there. I've only read it in Japanese since the 5th chapter. I've read bits and pieces of 3 and 4 though, but 5 is my favorite. Jojo is pretty frustrating to translate sometimes, but I have to think "maybe Japanese people don't understand either".

It's because many of the most remarquable quotes of Jojo are not in japanese.

I used to got mine in Highervoltage and Ignition-One

Although IO had the best ones, their site seems pretty dead now (I think they were looking for translators, or something like that...) and they have finished part 1 and 2. On the other hand , the Highervoltage guys are fanediting "Gorgeous Irene", "JoJo5", "JoJo6", "Steel Ball Run" and "Under Execution, Under Jailbreak". They already finished "JoJo3" and "JoJo4", although I just don't know whether they still host the scans or not.

It's great, of course.
It's short enough so that Araki doesn't loose focus, it was at a time when he was not yet senile, and the basic idea is good.
Well, mostly the story of the cat on the boat and the main "jailbreak" story.

Yeah, I -loved- the first two stories, but I didn't enjoy the Deadman ones too much.

Senility actually came pretty LATE for Araki. We have people like Watsuki and Togashi reaching senility at a young age.

I continue to say Togashi is better now than before. I think HxH is more enjoyable than Yuyu.
As for Araki, his senility is less intriguing then his tendency to look younger as times goes by.

Yeah, Dolce the cat was truly awesome!! The first story was great also, but, as I didn't get the remaining ones translated, I don't know what to think about them...

Ah yeah...really. I come from the "Naruto hasn't been good in over a year, going on 2" school, not the "Naruto always sucked" school, but Kishimoto needs to get his crap together or start on that gang manga he keeps mentioning.

Takei had it pretty bad too, but it's not like he got senile, it's like his soul died.

I hope Viz commits the error of a lifetime and all this JoJo editing business blows in their face !! That's what they deserve for being such a dumb company...
