Uh, since I never played the game, who's that third character in your "SS RPG" team? Is that person only in the game?

Oh yeah, that's Shippu no Reon. As Nate said, she's only in this game. Antoinette is a boss design I like.

I wonder if Reon wasn't forced into your group, she might've made it into an actual game? I'd assume that the fact that you HAVE to use her turned a lot of people off. She looked pretty cool, anyway.

Oh, and what the heck is up with Yuga's voice? I'm reminded of Tekken's animal characters taking hits or something. Weird. From what I've seen in this video and older ones, Yuga really is one of the hardest SNK bosses, huh?

Shippu is cool, albeit a tad grumpy.

Yuga can be pretty hard, yup. I think the voice fits, considering he/she's a demon. Sometimes he/she is really hard in Samurai Tamashii, sometimes he kind of fights "sleepily" or "lazily", it seems to be pretty random... she's always hard in Asura Zanmaden, though. Igniz is much harder, but Yuga is certainly the most difficult Samuspi boss (most SS bosses aren't terribly hard, though.)

Thanks for the vids, they are great to see. The more I see of your videos the more I feel I missed something with this game. That era of 3D fighters was sort of weird where it was hard to tell what was good and what was bad. That most games looked like mutant offspring of Battle Arena Toshinden didn't exactly inspire me to spend a lot of time testing them out to see if there was something fun in them or not.

She's average strength normally, but yeah, she learns a really abusive move. Can't remember the name of it off hand, but it's a form of splash fount, and you can just spam it to kill 90% of enemy parties in one turn.

So, that "D" I saw for Charlotte in a guide is misleading? Oh and I heard that Reon's the only woman who can't be equiped with a ribbon. Why's that?

Sort of. Like I said, she isn't that great normally (although I'd use her anyway, I like Charlotte...) but the game has a high encounter rate and just spamming that helps things roll along nicely. Reon probably can't wear a ribbon because she's manly. No clue really, it isn't mentioned.

Well, I would if I could, but as I've said before, I simply do not have any compression software that allows me to compress these to a reasonable size. If anybody is willing to help, I'm open to it, but so far I've had no luck.

It's "all right", not really that great. Has some good designs, though (I think some of the opponents were probably designs which didn't actually make it to a "real" SS game)

Thanks for the vids... I enjoyed the 3D SS...

I am now looking for some tobal 2 vids, as I recently acquired the game... =) I love the grappling system and wonder why it's not ripped off by Sega or Namco...=)
