What tha- what?!? Here I had grown used to the idea of Killer 7 being a piece of videogame folklore like being able to fight Sheng Long in SF2:WW or other much discussed, impossible events. The fact that there will be an actual Killer 7 game avaliable for purchase soon is a concept that's going to take me awhile to get used to.

well, you can add Killer 7 to the long lost of 'childhood miths' that you have grown out and - or lose faith with time, like christmas, tooth fairy, the will-o-wisp and many othes.

I wonder if you will be able to play the games on a vertical format? You know... turning the PSP on it's side so that the height is longer than the width.

I also wonder if the arranged versions of Pac-Man and Dig-Dug will be like the arcade Namco Museum Vol. 2? I loved those two remakes.

It really didn't looked brilliant, by what I heard... OK at best.
I will try it if it's as gay as Ie Tate.
At least, there is still no female character in this one.

There will be a mode like Tekken Force, character(s?) not in the arcade version, and also a surprise bonus.
Your guess is as good as mine.

Since I'm actually interested in T5 (the arcade version looks so much like it wants to be VF4FT it's not even funny) I'll venture a guess as to Tekken force mode not being crapy this time, maybe they'll have Jun in there for weirdness sake and that the surprise will either be Klonoa in the game or they'll give it tag features.

My one hope that I'm sure will happen is that there will be more items. Not that I've seen or will scoff at the arcade item list, but extra stuff in hme ports is one thing that helps make Namco home versions better than the arcade, content-wise.

And, er, I guess this means the US get T5 before Japan...? Or is the US release date still somewhat tentative at early February?

Only as import, but GGXX# reload was released for PS2&XBOX in S.Korea.

Yeah...
I ask because of the bonuses in the Korean #reload, and last summer, I wondered if I should buy the japanese Isuka or wait for a Korean version with bonuses...
I waited for like 2 weeks, then I lost interest in the game, and finally bought no version at all.

Actually, it was "character items not in the arcade version". My bad.

According to rumors, the mystery bonus could be a perfect port of the arcade Tekken 1. If they can, they may even put arcade Tekken 2 and 3.

So far, the arcade version makes 3 times the income of Tekken 4.
Good job Namco.

I'm really sorry to contradict you my dear Iggy but the TGS trailer, I saw in the Famitsu wave, shows us a least 3 ladys.

don't know if they'll be playble or not but aleast the Gladiator hero will have an Indian/arabian lady that fight with him, and the bad guy seems to have a couple of twin sister that plays in some "Pocca rabane-esque" prediction style....sorry...

Congrats Papa Mono!!

I'd say it's -at least- OK, but not so great that one would describe it with words like 'amazing' or 'gripping'. I had actually gotten about five hours into a preview version of the game, but my save file seemed to revert to Chapter one after I put the game aside for a while. I probably could have finished the game if I'd kept playing it... depending on how much of it was actually finished.

It takes direction similar to the first Onimusha... an adventure game with a historical theme and combat that's a little different from other Capcom titles. Seems to me like people looking for this type of game would have a good time with it.

Anyway, Iggy, the main character seemed a lot more concerned with young Octavianus than he did with the female gladiator... he has a very manly rival as well. You might still be interested.

Sorry Iggy, but it was my duty to informs you.
now on the good side all of those Ladys, only appears in FMV, not during gameplay phase. the game looks really...how could I say...well, you try to smash/slash/throw anything you can...and a bit "bloody", even more blood han in the DMC 3 video.... But there is a lots of Gladiators, some tiger, voltures, and elephant, and many men in dresses....

Great info Iggy!

Going to post this info on tekkencentral.com.

Any words about inclusion of Ghost AI from top players(S. Korea, Japan) for console?

The rumors that there may be old Tekken games and even more crap to stick on my characters included in the Tekken 5 port is good news indeed.

But, if they are included, these would be the arcade versions and not the home ports. All those extra console-only little bits like the inclusion of Galaga to unlock a character and Gon probably wouldn't be included in T5. Then again, those weren't the best additions to the game anyway.

Ah, a nice expansion of the arcade intro. I'm sure the second half will be like previous Tekken intros and be a montage of different characters but I like that the first half of this one is one big, cohesive fight scene. That, and the way Kazuya wins the latest round in the feud with his dad is pure comedy gold.
