I was looking with a friend for the vs game who have the less, and the bigger number chararcters in it.
In the less Ive found a pittyfull AVP game in SNES with 2 characters, and Mortal Kombat 1 with 7 characters.
For the bigger MvC2 with 56 seems to win.
The question is easy, did you know some other game that may have a lower or bigger number of characters??? 2d or 3D it doesn't matter, but it should be a VS.

Warzard has four playable characters, that's really low too.

Well, and Street Fighter I had only 2 playable characters (Ryu and Ken, obviously), depending on which start button you hit. I think that's the lowest thing you can actually call a choice...

And Robo-Pit? How many parts permutations/customizations were allowed to design your robot?
And what about all those WWF-alike games where you can edit your own characters and build them up? Do those games count?

OK thanks for those infos, that true, I didn't think to SF1 and with 2 characters is obviously one list.
Sell I'll check for Tobal, as for edit characters they don't count since they aren't characters created by a company, with storyline and such...

I read an old import review claiming that Tobal No. 2 had 200+ playable characters (now I don't know if they count edits...) They say the game is a lost gem that never saw life outta Japan... I couldn't say, never played 2, just 1, which was ok for its time.
