Instead of linking to 300 sites, let me just direct you here instead:

WE ARE BEAUTIFUL

Odd. So very, very odd.

First thing I thought of when I saw "Ibara" was Marimite-shooter... even the silhouettes on the two sides remind me of the Yamayurikai members.

Anyways, a new CAVE shooter is always a good thing. Now, we just need the Mushihime-sama PS2 port.

They're testing another game already!? When did this happen?

Very odd indeed, but great news anyway.

"Impressions" , posted Fri 24 Dec 07:18:post reply

The guy of Nikaiten has posted a matome of impressions on the betatest of "Ibara - we are beautiful"(????) of Akiba.

* There are a lot of women in the player as well as the boss characters... Is it a yuri shooting ?
* The systems looks A LOT like Galaga
There are weapon items, and an emblem-based evolution (was there such a thing in Galaga ? Am I thinking to the wrong game ?)
* There are two type of characters, but you can't choose, one is always on the 1 player side and the other always on the 2nd player side.
1P:quick movements and 2P:wide range....maybe. Actually, the guy didn't felt that much of a difference.
*You can change the direction of your options when you release the shoot button. The options of the first player move toward the direction he's moving to, those of the 2nd player go in the opposite direction.
The bomb of the 2nd player is slower but wider.
>波動ガンはよく分からんな・・・[I don't understand this one]
You can't use the evasion move yet, or its use may be extremely limited. [?]

It doesn't seems to be on the type X, maybe the same board as Mushihimesama.
There was a lot of freezes during the test. The duration of the test is not announced yet.
I bet a few details (like the player characters) will be fixed in the final version.

Is that the game's complete name ??? If the game is half the attractive as its title, I'm sold. And all these roses...just priceless.

I've always hoped for a "pretty"-centered shooting game. Could my dream come true?

Shouldn't we be hearing about a Mushihimesama port soon?

This sounds a lot like Batsugun and Sonic Wings. Which isn't bad.

Which is baffling, because some are saying it's not, yet it clearly says Taito on the cabinet. Hm...

Maybe I'll be lucky and it'll be former/current Raizing designers that worked on Garegga/Bakraid/Batrider in Raizing will have worked with or for Cave to make this.

*drool*

The company name on the cabinet pretty much means squat... I mean, you can have one company's cabinet with another company's hardware inside.

I still want to know how Raizing / their peoples are tied into this, because you know it's there...

Could he mean Garegga (as in Battle Garegga) instead? The kana for the two is very similar.

Cave was hirring not too long ago: maybe they picked up some former Razing employees then. I guess we'll know when we see the credits.

Edit: grammar

Yup, that would definitely make more sense.
