(GameSpot Japan, NTT EG, Impress GameWatch) 6/25 Tokyo, Japan- Sega and Red company revealed four upcoming releases of the "Sakura Wars" series at an announcement ceremony in the Tokyo Imperial Hotel.

1- An motion picture (anime) version of Sakura Wars will be showing in theaters, December 22nd.2- A sequel to the GameBoy Color version, "Sakura Taisen GB2 thunderbolt Sakusen" is scheduled to be released by Sega, no date & price are scheduled. (Images at Impress Gamewatch)

3- An online version of Sakura Wars, "Sakura Taisen Online" is scheduled for DreamCast release in December. The game labeled as an "online theme park", will use the "OPENDICE" system.

4- Sakura Wars 4 will be released for the Dreamcast as well. Titled "Sakura Taisen 4 -Koi seyo otome", the game will include all 13 main characters from part 1 and 2, allowing players to form their own army. Sakura Wars 4 will be the final DreamCast release for the series, scheduled for sale in Spring- 2002.
