Short Comment- Beware of the KLEZ Virus for tomorrow.

Beware of tbhe Klez virus- it's spreading like wildfire right now. If you're infected with the bad version of the Klez virus, you'll be losing a lot of mpegs, MP3s, Word documents, text files and more, come tomorrow. Losing HTML files would be a nightmere, if you're a webmaster. More details can be found at [ Mcafee ].

If you've received any screensavers on your machine recently, chances are that it's a virus. This virus also stops Anti-virus programs from operating, so you'll be even more vulnerable to other viruses as well. Be careful of yourself and your friends, especially if they're the trigger-happy type when it comes to mysterious screensavers and executables.

If you want to check to see if you're safe from the threat (and take it out if you have it), use the free tool available at
[ Symantec ].
Also, if your Internet Explorer is old, the bug in it will execute viruses as well. My old server master looked at me like I was a nutcase (well I am, tho') when he found out that I use plain "Internet Explorer 5.0" a while back. It apparently has more holes than swiss cheese, so update to SP2.
