Tokyo, 3/26- Capcom stock rose by 340Yen (10.27%) since the weekends, currently at 3650 Yen. One of the factors leading to the rise is considered to be the estimates of "Onimisha" -a game for the SCEI's Playstation2, to sell over 1 million copies by the end of March. The game will be the first million seller on the PlayStation2.

JP Morgan Securities analyst Noriko Manabe's report from 3/21, analyzes that Capcom's software business for the home market effects the company far more than its arcade counterpart.

From the analysis, Manabe concludes that Capcom's decision to base its foundations on the home game software business is appropriate. Manabe also adds that Capcom's estimate to sell over 2 million copies of Onimusha by the fiscal of mid March 2002, can possibly be achieved as well.

Short Comment: NetBSD for Dreamcast

Well, here's something interesting that I didn't notice for quite some time. Likewise to the commotion of the Linux for PS2, there's a NetBSD for the DreamCast. The big difference being, this one has actually been created, and is already released by a third party; "The NetBSD Foundation". While the binary isn't currently unreleased at the site, check it out if you have any interests. -H.Moriarty

Short Comment: Game for the MSX to be released ... at this Century

Being an owner of an original MSX machine, here's something very, Very interesting. I found this at NTT Publishing's site while surfing... Some company called Syntax, is seriously going to release a game for the MSX... at this Century. The game's name is "Tama ni wa sora o miagete"(Look up to the sky at times), and it's scheduled for release on 8/19. 700 Yen.

I would've never ever imagined anyone to make a game for a machine as old as the 8 bit Famicom/NES.. espeically considering that it isn't even manufactured any more. The best part about this game however, is that.. under the specs, it says specifically that the game will run under an MAX emulator. -H.Moriarty
