Game System Addition and Changes

Button Settings
Unlike previous Capcom fighter games, MvsC2 does not have middle attack buttons.
While the button setup is still the same 3 x 2, the settings goes as follows-

Weak Punch Feirce Punch Assist 1
Weak Kick Feirce Kick Assist2

At the cuttent time of beta testing, the middle attacks can be executed automatically when the weak punch is prssed twice in a row. This new system also stops players from executing a rapid series of weak attacks.

Snapped back partner forces Cyclops to fight.

SnapBack
Players can now hit the opponent's character out of the fighting screen and force another partner to come out- this new attack is called "SnapBack". The player can pick to Force out any of the opponent's character remaining in the background, depending on what button is pushed for the attack. A snapped Back character cannot return to the fighting field for a limited time, shown with an X sign on the character's life.

Assist Type Select
The "Variable Assist" system from the prequel has been eveloped. Now, players can choose what type of assist each of the characters does. Each character has 3 types of assists, some of such are Anti-air, projectile, and Life recovery.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 is scheduled for release on 3/23, simultaneously for Arcade and the Dreamcast.
