Square released additional information
on their upcoming title "Chocobo Stallion". The game system is being developed
by the creator of the original Derby Stallion, and the staffs of "Legend
of Mana" for the Playstation.

In Chocobo Stallion, the objective
of the player is to grow Chocobos, use them to win races, and breed evem
stonger, faster Chocobos. There are fundumentally 9 different color types
of Chocobos, however depending on how the player grows the Chocobo, the
chocobo will change size and personality, allowing players to grow their
Chocobos over 1000 in variety.

The Chocobo races have titles in
reference to Final Fantasy, such as Odin Cup, Ramu Steaks and Omega Cup.
other parts of the game also brings back Final Fantasy mascots such as
the Moogle, which in this game is responsible for disciplining the player's
Chocobos.
Chocobo Stallion is schedueld for
release in Winter.
