KOF2000 Officially Announced

KOF2000 is officially anounced
SNK has officially announced their decision to release the King Of Fighters 2000 for the Arcades. The news was first brought by KOF99-Evolution's Official web site, and now in all other medias as well.

While the title of the game is still considered to be tentative and its platform has not been made clear, two brief details have been released reguarding characters.

Two new Characters announced for KOF2000
The two original strikers who are scheduled to be in the DreamCast's KOF'99-Evolution, have been announced to be useable player characters in the upcoming KOF2000.

As a striker in KOF'99-Evolution, Seth jump kicks into the battle scene and throws a multiple hitting uppercut when coming into contact with the opponent. Whether this move will be seen in KOF2000, is not yet known.

As a striker in KOF'99-Evolution, Vanessa comes dashing from the back of the player and executes a rapid combo after dashing a distance or coming into contact with the opponent. After her attack, she roots for the player. Again, whether this rapid combo will be seen in KOF2000 as well, is not yet known.

KOF '99-Evolution for the DreamCast is scheduled for release on 3/30, priced 5800 yen.
