Last night, Ed Boon was at Gamespot to show a little of the Wii version of MK:Armageddon, mostly to show the controls with the Wiimote and the new Wake Up movement (it seems the fighter lays down on the floor in order to avoid attacks, and can stand up fast). Unfortunately, he didn't test Khameleon. In fact, she barely appeared. However, in order to show how the controls work, he has to select a fighter; in order to select a fighter, he has to go to the select screen. Then... Voilá! She is right below Nightwolf. The screen is not very good, so we can't say exactly how she looks. It seems she wears a light green mask (but not like Jade's mask in her alternate outfit), her skin is very pale, maybe completely white (but it doesn't seem that she's transparent like Chameleon - but that's a possibility as well), and she has a quite messy grey or white hair (considering how she's supposed to be from Reptile's race, and that reptilians don't have hair or fur, that's a little strange). As usual, most of the MK players are complaining about her look. But I quite like it. Although it's hard to judge from now, since the screen isn't very clear... Other things that I noticed: now there's only one KAK slot in the select screen (probably for both players instead of only Player 2); Daegon and Meat are already unlocked in the screen (could it be that the only secret characters in this version are Taven and Blaze??); and also Raiden is his dark self and Kitana doesn't wear a mask (although these looks probably are in the PS2/Xbox select screens as well, but not in the one Midway released a screen of during the preview last year). Maybe Chameleon should switch places with the KAK icon in the select screen. It would look better. Well, that's it. MKA may be far from being the flawless closure game that Midway has promised (and in fact, it is far from it, indeed), but it's looking like an interesting game for the Wii, with these little subtle improvements (Khameleon, the new movement, the Endurance Mode, possibility of choosing different controls and probably a really minor graphic improvement). I don't own a Wii (actually, never played any of the three new platforms) and wouldn't buy one just for this game, but if I had one, I'd definitely buy this game.
