german Japanese
English : the usual level up system is here, but this time you will also gain skill points when you level up. This will allow you to personalise your characters and learn special moves. There are some skills that are particular to one character : Jessica has the "sexy skill", Yangas has the "emotion skill", etc.. Other (possible) skills : cardboard breaking skill, cruising skill, marathon skill, etc. The hero is shown learning the dragon slash skill this way; does it mean the jobs have disappeared ? [VERY dangerous decision if they have done it]
the weapons (boomerang, spears, etc), and their related skills will power up when you get skills for them.
You can attack the monsters with boomerangs, iron balls, short sword, arrows, etc, then when you are weaponless, the hero will punch, Jessica will slap, Kukuru (laugh) will do some capoera kick, and Yangas will drop kick. Some ennemies appear on the field, and if you attack them and beat them, you can scout them, then call them during the other battles to help you.

the job system only appeared in 3 6 and 7, so it will be very normal to not have it in 8. thanks for the info, the game is promissing as usually.
