*holds up copy* Anyone who considers themselves a fighting game fan should buy it. 3rd Strike alone is worth the 30 bones.

Can I wait for the x-box version and still consider myself a fighting game fan?
No?
Rats. Whelp, time to change all my business cards.

I knew I would do it and I know this I know what I am doing now that I am doing something both beautiful but gruesome because I am destroying its beauty by knowing that it might be beautiful know that if I know that I am dong something beautiful that it's no longer beautiful. - Dave Eggers A.H.W.O.S.G.

01. Read the sentence below then choose the correct option.

SF AC is selling well in the USA!

a) This is good, because Capcom will then breathe new life into the fighting genre and create an all-new game.

b) This is bad, because Capcom will think people want more rehashes. They´ll release more collections of games we already have instead of making a new game.

c) This is bad, because Capcom will think people want more rehashes. They´ll release another "new" series. Using one new sprite.

d) This is bad, because Capcom will think people want more rehashes. They´ll release a sequel to Capcom Fighting Jam.

---

Now, a 2D fighter selling well is always good news to me, but the question is how Capcom will act... IF they act at all.

Why did you not make this a poll? From what I understand from the 'poll poll', polling is all the rage in the Cafe just now.

I'm feeling delusional today, I choose option A. YA GOTTA BELIEVE!

Releasing an underplayed game that's been ported once to a single console isn't a rehash by any stretch of the imagination, and SFIII was totally non-rehash in spirit since it did things so differently from other Street Fighters. I say A!

Poll:
Are polls all the rage at MMCafe now?

Looking over that top ten list I realized I bought two of the games -SFAC and the latest Dynasty Warriors- that were listed. I feel like some sort of corporate sell-out but at least game genres I like are selling well enough that there's a chance I'll see more of them in the future.

Oh, and I would vote on the MOK-KOS poll but in spite of everyone's best efforts to run that joke into the ground I'm not sure I know enough about that character yet. Please explain who MOK-KOS is in detail. Slow, painful, detail.

I'll jump the gun and quote good mr. exodus' Insert Credit before Her legions do it for me:
"Perhaps you recall a new piece last month about the limited edition of Xenosaga II. It came with a terrible Kos-Mos figure that had a look of extreme horror on her face. Naturally, everyone was appalled. Even more naturally, they made a shrine to her and gave her a name: Mok-Cos. Check out some parodies, gifs and ascii art of the abomination. And if you're feeling particularly adventurous, behold the flash."

This picture should show you what kind of stuff you're getting into.

Hell, I'd have waited for the XBox version if I actually owned one. This on Live will(hopefully) own.

Well, I've found it very hard to predict what Capcom will do. I never thought that by 2004 there would still be no word on SF4. I never thought they would put Hauzer in a Game. They've been very unpredictable. Who knows. I kind of feel no matter what they do with this news, it won't end in them hurrying up to bring out SF4. Waiting five years ongoing kind of does that.

Last *rumors* I heard (these are rumors, can't back them up) is that SF4 will be Cel-Shaded and won't come out at the very least until 2007/2008. I like Cel-Shading so that doesn't bother me to much, but the long wait does.
