quote: Actually, that's a really bad title to ever mention in public, because by indicating that you have some knowledge of it, people will infer that you actually play that sack of sin whether or not you actually do. If I mention I... I mean, a friend of mine who has an account here was forced to finish the game with 3 different characters and there's even a few snuff movies of this torture floating around, would it get him banned from the cafe ? I ask this as a mere assumption. All the characters, names and games written in this post are fictional and have no tie with any living or existing person or game.
Battle Raper is a highly misunderstood game.
You see, to the general public that likely have no knowledge of this game, introducing or mention it to them will cause alarm and profound misunderstanding.
To those who are sufficiently culturally and video game exposed, the game is a novelty; it's like that exploitation B-movie that you watch with your friends for a few good laughs.
Thus, it is no surprise that there are people who have gone and finished the game, and further produced videos of it for the public to view. Indeed, once people become better aware of the appropriate perspective from which the game should be played and viewed, they will be less intolerant of it.
However, the game is, by all accounts, a really bad game. But isn't that the standard of porn games?
QUESTION: Once, a good long time ago while playing some multiplayer game, somebody chatted, "wah they rape us!!!" to which I responded, "then counter-rape them". This prompts an interesting question: is the word "counter-rape" nonsensical? If the subject of the counter-rape later attempts his/her own counter-rape attempt, does the continuation of events constitute a contest that is, in a sense, consensual? On the other hand, what if the target of the counter-rape attempt does not refuse? Does this then mean that the counter-rapist cannot rape the original rapist? Or can the counter-rapist simply escalate the methods of the attempt until they are undesirable enough that the original rapist wants no more, and thus can be considered as being raped? And is this, ultimately, a good method of developing human relations? It's so involved!
Yeah, that's somehow related to Battle Raper.
Spoiler (Highlight to view) - I'll be honest, I haven't actually played Battle Raper, so I haven't the experience needed to create truly quality references to the game. But I don't think I'm going to salute anybody who actually has, no matter how hard it is to put up with a game that sucks. Damn puns.
End of Spoiler

No, unless they are actually snuff movies eh?

The phrase is not nonsensical. quote: If the subject of the counter-rape later attempts his/her own counter-rape attempt, does the continuation of events constitute a contest that is, in a sense, consensual?
It is in a sense a consenual contest unless the behavior is forced out as self defense or something.quote: On the other hand, what if the target of the counter-rape attempt does not refuse? Does this then mean that the counter-rapist cannot rape the original rapist?
Yes; If it's not refused than it's not rape right?quote: Or can the counter-rapist simply escalate the methods of the attempt until they are undesirable enough that the original rapist wants no more, and thus can be considered as being raped?
Yes, unless the person is so mentally unhealthy as to not reach a point at which they desire no more. These people are not respectable and are unhealthy by their own choice. quote: And is this, ultimately, a good method of developing human relations?
Obviously not!quote: It's so involved!
I agree, Shadow Hearts 2 has asi~asi character designs but will probably be a good game.
 Jocularity?
