While I'm a bit ambivalent to it all, I say, god, yes, bring it back! It has a good sidestory, the original characters are good, in concept if not in execution, and the character art is yummy. If a KoF EX3 can be to EX2 what EX2 was to the first, then we're golden.
Plus, I want to see Gustav fight.

I agree with all this. And I would add that the original background with the red bus in EX2 was quite good too. Plus I think the GBA is a great platform for KOF, since I tend to consider fighters as pick'n play games, best enjoyed in 10-20-minute spells. And although I would rather have a faithful port of KOF 2000, 2K1 or 2K2 on it -- but would such port be possible on a GBA? --, I still think EX2 is a boon for portable console lovers. Not much improvement is needed for EX3 except allowing it a cartridge with better capacity so as to squeeze in a dozen more characters. This game is simply missing in girls (Kasumi, Blue Mary, Shermie, May Lee, Angel, King, Kula, Whip). Or perhaps we'll be graced with a GAL FIGHTERS EX!!!!!
