There's a local arcade with KOF NeoWave machines, and cards for it are going for the princely sum of $10 Cdn. each, or $15 for a pair. I'm thinking that they just stocked a handful cuz they don't expect many people to want them in the first place, and so are selling them as collector's items.

...not that NeoWave seems to be that great of a game anyway...

Taking the chance to ask: no mook announced to NeoWave or MI (besides the american Brady guide for MI)?

No 10th year KOF artbook? This would be the perfect chance for a 300+ page KOF artbook...

SNK still doesn´t have anything of the level of the Capcom Design Works books (that i know of)...

Hmm... A 10th year manga...

There´s hope for a mook, i guess. Oh, and there´s a pic of the prototype Neo-Geo CD PS2 pad in the Saishu/Shingo section of the KOF 10th site.

HEY ! This thing has 6 buttons !
Yippie !
(What now ? an animated opening ? They already had that in DC KOF 98...)

Edit : HOLY FUCKING SHIT !?!!!!
Kawaue Tomoko played Mey Lee ???????????
....
Oh, well, at least this means we won't see her coming back for a looong, long time. But then, what happened during the Eolith sponsorship ? Kula, Angel, K9999, May Lee, Kusanagi... No wonder not a lot of money went into the games.
Hummm.... Well, Kula appeared in 2000 and Shingo was there years ago. Let's say it's just the roots of SNK's failure.

It's not a 10th year manga. It's just a collection of Akizuki Shou's work in the various studio DNA KOF anthologies and 4 koma mangas. It's not anything special, or made to celebrate the 10 year of kof or anything.

The book contains only a small selection of his work from 96-2001 though, it's not a complete collection like some of the other compilations by other authors. If you've already been reading studio dna kof anthologies, it's best not to buy it, you've probably already read everything inside.

The cover is about the only part that you see 2003. There's a 2 page comic on 2003, but that sucks.

I bought it to realise I've read everything inside. And it doesn't even have those kof works by him that I liked best. Sucks more.

Collection or not, the site labeled it as a 10th year item, don´t bite my head off.

They make you wish you can use the Orochi NFT, but actually they will bug before you have gathered enough points.
And they slowdown the game.
