Yes, he's dead, at the age of 56, apparently of natural causes. So, at least he managed to get clean before he died. Good for him.

THANK YOU for that link. I will bookmark that and will use it everyother day, because that's about how often I hear the Rick James quote.
I heard it's because of stuff like that that Chappelle was holding out on a third season. People at his stand up gigs would yell out the Rick James quote and totally ruin the moment. Of course now he got that $50 million dollar deal for two more seasons so I guess its now in the past.
Anyways, Blackzilla was the best skit ever.

Yeah, I saw this news Saturday and wondered if this would affect whether or not people would still be quoting that Rick James thing from the Chappelle Show. Personally, I hear the Lil Jon thing way more than the Rick James thing, so I doubt it'll have any effect on me.
I remember this block party thing here... I was walking in from down the street, and that's all I heard- "HOOO-WAT??? OHHHH-KAAAAYYY!!! YEEEEAAAAAH!!!" and everywhere during the party.
