(from 2ch, courtesy of Za Age)
The special edition of Siren should include :
a beginner mode (they had to do it)
an extra mode (with objectives like "move in 1st person view" or "escape in xx minutes" or "invisible shibito (???)" etc).
a making of
and some movies (about events, or about how the game got received in different foreign countries)

[personal rumbling and fantasies]
It's quite a deception they don't add missions with Yoriko or the last Miyako, or new maps...
But the Extra mode raises my interest. I suppose it will be harder than the original game, I suppose it's going to be just some mission without ties in the scenario, a little like what there was in that MGS game where you fought giant monsters and robots? So I guess they will redesign the levels (I mean, the patterns and the number of shibito in them) so we will have to relearn each map once again... Plus, if they don't have to follow any scenario, we may be able to play as Yao, Yoriko or even Ayako, or a sniper Risa, or Tomoko with the urien.... Hum, I hope the extra mode will be LONG and HARD and SWEA... and, I mean... hard. And long.
And I'm waiting for the mission where you play Mina and you have to escape from all those bloodthirsty human characters who only dream about aggressing a poor defenseless tentacle nurse.

Actually, I heard on MysteriousJapaneseSite.com that everyone in Japan hates it already. And they're all playing that new Street Fighter 2 revision where all the characters are now wearing hats.
