Hi and hello everyone.

A reliable source has told me that GameCube fans may hear some good news from SNK in 2005.

Metal Slug Advance will probably get some slight delay.

Also, the source believes that anything being exlcusive for the X-box seems unlikely in Japan.

I am sorry but I cannot name my source. I will say that my source is pretty reliable, but I'm not making any promises.

This, as you know, contradicts what I reported at E3. Ben Herman has said at E3 about SNK not supporting the GCN, but as you know, company's change their plans all the time. I guess the conflict with Sony that was reported on Spong.com has led SNK Playmore to re-evalate things.

I doubt SNK would release a fighter on GCN... but I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to Cool Cool Toon hitting the GCN.

Wonder if he's an SNK Sales Rep, or something of the sort...

I would love SNK for this. Though, that would mean that I need Sega to bring over Samba de Amigo also to Gamecube -- so that a Cool Cool GCN game can get some Maracas lovin' also.

No I am not an SNK rep and no I did not read that interview and speculate. I will however, read the interview right now.

Ok, now that I've read the article it just further backs up what my source said. Which, using the science of decution, and by linking to my past interviews, should provide you with a name and position.

"Yoshihito Koyama: We haven't decided. At this moment we say no, but someone told me some rumours about a Neo Geo motherboard 2, or something, but at this moment we are not planning to continue to develop arcade pieces."

"Yoshihito Koyama: We need to have something different... different categories of games such as sport or RPG, fighting adventure or something. We don't want to always do Metal Slug, King Of Fighters. We need to have something like Onimusha or Tenchu style of games.

Eurogamer: Have you got these games in development right now, are they going to come out next year?

Shinya Morishita: Yes, next yeah we maybe plan to release two or three [all new] titles.

Eurogamer: When will you announce those?

Shinya Morishita: Tokyo Games Show."

It looks like SNKP is making all the right decisions.
I want my Shiranui Tenchu game where her bells jiggle everywhere she goes.

Thanks for the news Celsius I think the interview also collaborates with what Ben Herman said about there being a "Big surprise" at TGS this year. it also seems to make sense. If SNK is trying to "branch out" who said that the GC is excluded in this case. Fighting games sure, but in theory they could port a Slug game if they wanted to or make a fighting game tailored to the GC's controls (SSBM or even SCII). But with all this talk about Tenchu andOnimusha clones, that's possible too.

My gamecube deperately wants a SNK fighter. My only consolation has been playing the awesome KOF EX2 with a gameboy player and 2 copies of the game for vs play mode, and I'm sure my cube can do better than emulation. Having said that, I've learnt not to count my chickens before they're hatched, especially with SNKP. Who is still waiting for the long promised SNK vs Capcom GBA? Not to mention the unbearably delayed (yet confirmed) Metal Slug Advance.

I was going for the punchline, obviously, but upon deeper reflection I believe I would choose 'phoenix playing in a red cave'.

Do you mean "a new fighting game" or "someone who is able to play KOF EX2 without loosing all his characters to the first character of the opponent" ?
I'm not sure which.

(Still waiting for KOF-R3)

I lost the rounds because I hadn't practised the game for a few months; had gulped a few gin&orange already; was thinking about sex; wasn't at home with the D-pad. Once I've polished up those old strategies of mine, make sure I'll ... kill your first character with my team, perchance. BTW, Iggy, I am still amazed at how comfortable you were with the gamecube's tiny D-pad and the strange button layout. Would you buy me a sublime hori pad next time so you get a chance to pit yourself against a less handicapped opponent?

Do I really need to answer this ? (check)

I was tired by the train and the trip and the décalage horaire which isn't in my stupid heavy dictionary and I forgot how it says in english because I'm too drunk to walk straight, let alone post intelligible things in a foreign language or whatever language at all ! na !

Yeah, like if I was thinking about the way Sun Bin, Sun Zi's grand son, destroyed the army of the kingdom of Wei 2000 years ago. (check)

I see a lot of crosses and lines. I think it must mean.... errrrr.... that I should stop eating 2 supersized pizzas at breakfast.
Either that, or I'm pregnant. I'm never sure with these.

I think I missed a thread of the conversation... Explain me again what I would gain by buying you an item I'm already fantasing on but I'm too poor to buy myself ?

This is the hori pad I have in mind to thrash you next time:

I was wondering if they sell those at that same price in Paris, so you could get me one, and I would make it up to you with another healthy raclette next time.

Oh. I thought you were talking about the one I dream about at night (this one). Please don't even bother to make any comment nor any lacanian interpretation of my desire of a huge stick, thank you.
I don't know if they even sell those in Paris, but for another healthy raclette, I can take it the next time I command something at Lik Sang. Just remind it to me when I will (probably by August).
Now I will feel REALLY bad for not bringing anything to Jojo...

me too. It's mostly done! geh.

anyway, this 'phoenix' position sounds little frightening. Either that or it's not descriptive enough. Far's I've experienced, the phoenix pretty much always gets into that red cave some way or another.

Do that, I'll send you a cheque if necessary. Not that it is urgent though.
For Jojo, (he is cooking a boeuf bourgignon presently), we'll have to think it over.

(sorry for being off topic yet again)
