Long time reader, could never post because I never had a valid e-mail address.
Anyway, some of you might have notice my very few additions to the draw boards.
I've been wanting to register here for a long time, so here I am.
Btw, I'm another French member, even though I live in Canada! Salut les mecs, je suis un français exilé dans la belle province du Québec, je sais qu'y a plein de compatriotes ici, donc je tenais à vous passer le bonjour!

Okay, I dunno where the flark Dr. Baghead's response came from, but rest assured that that's not how most of us respond to newcomers.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure you can see for yourself that this is a very cordial board. Even more so than GameFAQs, and that place is regulated to death. We don't do flame wars, we don't feed what few trolls show up, and we don't engage in that ridiculous habit of belching up an ethnic slur or inappropriate swear word completely out of the blue (which happens all the freaking time on Bemanistyle, BTW).
Strange, isn't it? I've never even heard of a moderator, and not only has no post evern been deleted, we've never even had a thread locked. And we still manage to get through the day without devolving into flaming, spamming, trolling chaos.
So enjoy your stay...and anytime you get the urge to start a new thread, knock yourself out.
(P.S.: Do not write anything in a language that you are not fluent in. Do not say anything about Bao without calling him the worst character in the history of the universe. Do not dispute a single claim anyone makes about the canon story for any fighting game. Do not write one word about any game named "Dead or Alive" and/or "Beach Volleyball". Do not make any kind of pronouncement on any arcade game that is not in your arcade this very moment. Just take it from someone who's been there, friend.  )

It came from every other "Hi! I'm new! thread" I've responded too... maybe I should have throw in a few smilies or something so it comes across as silly instead of hateful but the point remains the same:

Actually this does happen... you want to see a flame war start a thread with the title something like "art help needed" or something and you'll see all that spring up assuming a certain poster comes out of hidding...
Sure it's rare but there are flames and blechings out of an apporiate swears out of the blue sometimes... it's unfair to represent the board as NEVER having this happen.

Actually post DO get deleted all the time, but by responsible users who see somethings gotten out of hand! People are special like that here.
(speaking of which, something all new board members need to know:
-To edit a post: On the post you wish to edit there will be an icon that says "edit post" click it and make changes rather then posting a reply and saying "opps! I meant 'Zero is Megaman's friend' not 'Zreo'"
-To delete a post/thread: Go to the edit screen, under the 'icon selection' menu there will be two boxes, one to delete the post you're editing, the other to delete all subthreads... deleting is good for double post, deleting subthreads and the original post is good to stop potential/occuring flame wars)

Doesn't listen to that, the only rule here is "No Shoes On the Sofa" and it's strickly enforced.
also, why can't you say "Dead or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball"? What's wrong with that? Did I miss a fun arguement over DoAX?
yeah it's not funny but the naked chick tag was getting annoying.

Favorite character is Sakaki closely followed by Chiyo-chan, and very closely by Osaka, who's too cool in a weird way. Then Tomo's hyper personnality...
Then, the Nyamo/Yukari couple, and yomi, then kagura, and the Kimura-sensei/Kaorin combo! all kinda ex aequo...
It's kinda hard to give a real order, but that would be it... Oh, and put Tadakichi san and Chiyo's dad somewhere there too... gaaah, it's hard, I like them all in a very different way. That's one of the main reasons I love this series, they managed to create characters that are so different yet go so well together! The biting cat is funny too!
Damn you Microsoft because of you I can calculate faster than my computer!
