For the first time, Microsoft is allowing an Xbox game to be completely overhauled via an Xbox Live patch. The new Ninja Gaiden will feature new enemies, new weapons, a new camera, better AI, a faster gameplay engine, a bunch of mystery extras that they won't talk about, and all without any new levels, meaning that the game will be fundamentally changed, rather than added to.
The patch should be available in early August.

-__- so how much is XBox live a month? and more to the point can I order it for a month, discount the service, and then reorder it when say, another new download comes out?

Ahh! Awesome! Man, it sucks that Team Ninja's the only one really taking advantage of the XBox's ability to patch games and upgrade them. The only other game I can think of that's done that is Splinter Cell with the new levels. You've got to appreciate Team Ninja doing these things...
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an off-line update. It wouldn't make sense if they didn't make one...
